My experience with Jealous Gallery regarding the purchase of 3 artworks by Jamie Hewlett was regrettably disappointing. I encountered several issues:
The Golden Hoop artwork I received was significantly smaller than the size I had ordered, and there was no prior communication regarding this discrepancy. The Snake Head Rattle artwork arrived with noticeable undulations on the paper.
Upon consulting my framer, I learned that the thinness of the paper (330gsm) used for this particular print was likely the cause of the problem. Despite my concerns, Jealous Gallery denied this, claiming it was one of their thicker papers.
However, today editions of Jamie Hewlett's artwork have been printed on 500gsm paper, contradicting their assertion.
When addressing these issues, the only solution proposed was dry mounting, a compromise that would diminish the artwork's value. I had ordered a print through a different service, and when I received it to be framed, the framer damaged the print. After spending 5 years trying to locate this print and now devastated, I started my search over. I am so thankful to have found Jealous Gallery and for their attentiveness to my story. I sent in an inquiry through their website, asking if the print was still available, and received an email back the next day. The gallery worked closely with me and the artists studio to attempt to recover a new print on my behalf. One month after contacting Jealous Gallery, I received my new mint print in the mail. I am beyond thankful for all the staff involved - Rachel, Amy, Louise and Maddie. I highly recommend this gallery - you cannot ask for sweeter women that truly care and understand the importance of art. I am so thankful...

Free drinks on openings :) Since they do some of the silk screen printing collectively, the level of detail in series is...
