Just Burgers Plus — Restaurant in London

Either I became too picky over the years or this food from here is just not good enough nowadays. I was living in the area in 2016-2017 and was a regular customer at this burger place for almost a year back then. Now I am back in the area and was initially excited to find out that this burger takeaway still exists here. So I ve ordered from there today for delivery. Very disappointing experience. The Monster burger I've ordered barely had any burger sauce - just a tiny bit of burger sauce which is why the burger tasted so dry, the cheese was missing from the burger I think - I didn't check at the beginning, so half through the burger when I was looking at the amount of sauce they put I noticed there is no cheese inside - this burger was supposed to come with cheese as it says on their menu. On top of that, I ve ordered garlic mayo sauce but instead of garlic mayo sauce dip that I was planning to eat with my chips and onion rings, they, for some reason, decided to put a portion of mushrooms in batter in my order. So garlic mayo sauce was missing from my order and instead I recieved a portion of something I did not order. Luckily, I do like mushrooms, but the whole experience was ruined because I had no sauce to eat those rather dry mushrooms, dry onion rings and fries with. I definitely did not enjoy the taste of the burger, fries and onion rings nor did I enjoy the portion of battered mushrooms they forced on me instead of garlic mayo sauce dip. Absolutely awful! Recently had this delivered as it had good reviews on Uber Eats, what on earth! How does this place have good reviews? Called ‘Just Burgers’ so you would think that as they specialise in burgers they’d be amazing. They’re not, they’re gross! Cheap frozen burgers with grisly bits, absolutely revolting 🤮 we ordered 2 burgers with chips and a portion of onion rings and it was £20. It was all nasty, there was no salad or sauce in the burgers, chips were rank and so were the soggy onion rings, oh and we also ordered burger sauce and that was disgusting too, we had a few bites and the rest of the meal went in the bin. Total let down! How these guys are in business and have returning customers I don’t understand.

Neither of the burgers had salad or sauce, why would I lie 🤷🏻‍♀️ just checked the uber eats receipt and it was actually £27 but received a discount from uber eats. I have been a regular visitor here for a long long time, over 10 years at least. Usually I have chicken fillets sprinkled with Cajun spices and fries but occasionally have a burger. Sadly on my most recent visits the burgers were far too overcooked to be enjoyable in any way whatsoever. They’re just too thin to be cooked for that length of time, I don’t like my burgers raw but I don’t mind a bit of pink inside at all. Soft and melting is how they should be. The fries too were a bit vile, they were of a lower quality than usual. It was an indigestion nightmare. I do hope it’s just a blip. My mate swears by his burgers here, but I’m struggling to get enthused by it all. Next time I will ask for a less well done burger. So only three stars from me.
