Call me old fashioned but the simplicity of the way in which you can feel welcomed, calm, relaxed, fed and watered is done best in the way that George serves everyone at Kente Coffee Shop in Sydenham High Street. Great little place to visit where time slows down nicely.

Wonderful calming atmosphere - nice furniture, good lighting, Classic FM gently playing. But not the place to go if you're in a rush! I visited a couple months ago and will return soon. The owner makes lovely strong coffee (I had the macchiato, so I'm sure there are gentler brews!) and takes great care in making sandwiches to order. He's an elderly guy so he's quite slow, but I didn't mind at all. And all for such a low price that I forgot I was...

I've only ever been there once in the past 6 years and for a cafe it wasn't that bad I must admit !! Ok now ive used this gaff on a few occasions and its actually quite good i like it there..so if you do want to give it a try youlll definitely have my advice by saying yes go its really nice place...
