Whilst we have been taking food away for a little while and it has been good, last week we placed a large catering order for a wedding function and guess what an absolute disaster!!! Firstly when we placed the order for 100 people the owner was extremely rude. We had specifically advised him that we did not want the food spicy as we had European guests. We had also asked that there was very little oil used as Ketraj's food is usually drowned in oil! We had 100 starving people and when the food arrived 80% of the people could not eat it as it was extremely spicy!!! Not only that the food was drowning in oil. AVOID AT All COSTS. I have just ordered food from a company called Paratha House on Uber eats which is operating from exactly the same address as Ketraj. So we decided to call Ketraj about the order we placed with Paratha House and the lady on the phone confirmed that she had received our order from uber eats. The food arrived. Sabudana khichri arrived warm, however all other food which was crispy bhajia, batata wada, moong daal pakoda arrived cold and stale. I tried to get a refund for the issue and had no luck via uber eats, please avoid ordering from this establishment as it is not fair that they are trying to run two companies from this location and are compromising on the quality of food sent out to customers. Tried to order delivery of their Farali dishes worth over £35 on Saturday afternoon via Uber. After about 40 minutes wait I received a message from Uber to inform that my order was cancelled as "customer had called Ketraj to cancel the delivery". I contacted Ketraj immediately after to find out why they had done this to ne when I had not even called them about any cancellation. The lady who answered tried to apologise saying they had staff shortages and were unable to fulfil my order. So not only it was a lie they informed Uber about me cancelling the order but also made me wait so long to find out about their inability to serve the food. I will never again order anything...
