We ordered 1 paper masala dosa with masala without onion, on the side and 1 cheese dosa with masala without onion, on the side.

When the dosas came, the masala was already inside one of them instead of it being on the side. As we started eating the dosas we realised that the masala had onions in it, despite ordering without onions.

We told the waitress who took our order on the mishaps and then we got told that they don't do the masala without onions. The waitess failed to inform us this when she took our order. We informed her on this and another waiter came to tell us that they won't be charging us for the dosas and that they will cancel the 2 dosas.

Later on the first waitress comes and whilst my daughter is eating her cheese dosa without the masala, she wants to take the 2 dosas away as they have cancelled the dosas.

So I have to order 2 dishes again as we were short of 2 main course.

As a result, my 7 year old daughter ended up watching us eat as her dosa got taken away.

I had to order another dish for her. And I ended up getting the cheese dosa again without the masala and the sambhar as she was already half way through her first and i didn't want to ruin her dinner even further. We made do without 1 main dish.

The staff caused us a lot of inconvenience at our dinner outing and they charged us in full for our meal.

I found the management of their mistake appalling, the staff had poor communication skills and I left feeling very put off by the whole dining experience at the venue.

Didn't think the food was that...

ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE and DANGEROUS. My wife found a sharp metal strand/piece in her food and instantly lost her appitite. There were the 9 of us dining and soon lost ours to picking through the food wondering whether we would find the same - absolutely ruined the evening. My wife made a complaint first but it was poorly handled ie no action or compensation. But a small apology.

I then spoke to the manager and requested a solution on our departure. To make things worse whilst we leaving to collect the bill the waiter dropped a bowl of yorgurt over 3 people including my brothers shoes and jacket! When requesting the bill I received it in full minus that one dish and thought that would be ok. I was offered a £10 discount but in all honestly looking back I shouldn’t have paid that either as it was a ruined evening for a happy occasion.

I don’t usually write bad reviews unless in the rare instance something has happened but unfortunately this place was a major let down and they have lost some once loyal customers.

This place has gone completely downhill. They changed my favourite dish completely. Stir fried tofu was previously fried in a coating, they served me the dish uncoated and then tried to fool me into thinking I had ordered the wrong dish. They then offered to coat it in batter, but it was disgusting, full of baby corn and not crispy like before. The chef didn't fry the tofu properly and the taste was very different to previously. I had to push all the baby corn to the edge of my plate. The attitude of the staff was awful. When I questioned the male member of staff, he finally admitted they had a new chef, but did not offer me any discount for such an altered dish. I felt cheated, refused to pay the service charge and now I have a stomach ache from eating that salty, awful tasting and not properly fried Tofu. I also hate babycorn, which they never used previously in this dish. I won't be coming back. They were very busy, but clearly don't care about regular customers otherwise they would have offered me a goodwill gesture....
