A wonderful local café!

L'Amandine is a true gem in Ham and has quickly become our go-to spot every week. The food and drinks are consistently excellent—great quality and amazing value for money—but what really sets this place apart is the staff.

Pami, in particular, is absolutely wonderful. She goes above and beyond to make every visit special, always welcoming us with a warm smile and genuine kindness. Her attentiveness and care create such a lovely atmosphere that makes you feel right at home.

The café is incredibly flexible too—they’re happy to accommodate laptops for those who want to work and even welcome dogs, which is a fantastic bonus!

I do not recommend this place at all . Watery coffee and burnt ham and cheese /cheese croissants which not only did we have to wait ages for , but we’re burnt and we had to send them back . Wish I’d taken photos ! And then the waitress had to actually question what was wrong with them! AND I had to ask for a refund ! Second waitress mainly bringing food out was hostile and sullen . I didn’t realise that this is owned by l’amandine Richmond which serves the worst coffee ever ! Seriously don’t bother unless you want to be ripped off with their prices and poor quality toasted croissants and bitter coffee at pretty hefty prices . Good job for Greggs practically next door ! A nice local cafe, good range of menu items some healthy some less so. The decor is nice enough, although some bits are a little tired.

However, i like popping here with the children, the babyccino is great, and in nice bright cups. The coffee is on the good side of ok, and there is a great range of cakes. Don't come expecting a three course meal, but do come for cakes, coffee, lunch and chats or for a (relatively) quick lunch.

Parking is on street, free for 30 minutes with a Richmond card, and the 65 bus is easy, or the 371/k5...
