Rating: ⭐☆☆☆☆ (1 star) I recently ordered from La Basque , and I regret to say that it was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve encountered. Let me break down my unfortunate encounter: Rude Staff: The moment I walked in, I was met with icy stares from the employees behind the counter. No warm welcome, no smiles—just a palpable sense of annoyance. When I asked about the specials, the cashier huffed and pointed to a faded menu board. Not exactly the friendly vibe I expected. Order Mix-Up: I placed a simple order for a pepperoni pizza. However, when my order arrived, it was a vegetarian pizza with olives and mushrooms. I politely pointed out the mistake, but the pizza maker rolled their eyes and said, “Well, it’s close enough.” Close enough? I didn’t realize “pepperoni” and “veggie” were interchangeable. Cold Pizza: The pizza itself was lukewarm at best. It seemed like it had been sitting out for a while. When I asked if they could heat it up, the same pizza maker sighed and reluctantly put it back in the oven. By the time I got my reheated pizza, my hunger had waned, and my patience had evaporated. Dismissive Attitude: When I expressed my dissatisfaction, the manager—a disinterested soul—shrugged and said, “We’re busy. What do you want me to do?” I wanted an apology, perhaps a fresh pizza, but apparently, that was too much to ask. No Refunds or Remakes: Despite the wrong order and cold pizza, they refused to refund my money or remake the pizza. Their policy, apparently, is “take it or leave it.” Well, I left it—and my appetite—for good. In summary, La Basque. needs a serious overhaul in their customer service department. If you’re looking for a friendly atmosphere and a well-prepared pizza, I recommend exploring other local options. As for me, I won’t be returning to La Basque ....

I recently visited this shop and was extremely disappointed with my experience. From the moment I walked in, the customer service was abysmal. The staff seemed disinterested and unwelcoming, barely acknowledging my presence.

When I placed my order, the person at the counter was incredibly rude and acted as if taking my order was a major inconvenience. There was no courtesy or politeness, just a curt and dismissive attitude.

To make matters worse, the wait time for my pizza was excessively long, and when it finally arrived, it was lukewarm and looked hastily put together. When I brought this to the staff's attention, they were unapologetic and made no effort to rectify the situation.

Overall, the combination of terrible customer service and rude staff made for a very unpleasant dining experience. I will not be returning to this worst pizza shop and would not recommend it to anyone looking for a decent meal and...

I have been visiting this pizza shop in the past 10 years, and I can honestly say it is one of the best pizza experiences I’ve ever had! Staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly. The service is fast, but never rushed, and the atmosphere is great.

Absolutely amazing. The crust is perfectly baked: crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The ingredients are always fresh and flavorful, and you can tell they take real pride in what they serve.

What really stands out is the quality. You can taste the difference compared to most independent and chain restaurants – this is authentic, handmade pizza in a wood-fire oven at its finest. Plus, the prices are reasonable for the generous quantity & quality you get.
