I just placed an order on Uber Eats!! I ordered the Frejon with rice, It comes with a powder that I’m not sure what it consists of, (maybe it’s cassava flour) however I called the restaurant because as I have a severe nut allergy and I wanted to know the ingredients inside of the flour. The lady on the phone was completely horrendous, She had no idea what I was referring to. I tried to give her my order number. I told her exactly what I ordered and she still could not help.! It blows my mind that I could order from a restaurant and staff members have no clue about the ingredients used in the food or what’s on the menu?
She spoke to the chef and the chef said it was ordered from Brazil or it came in a packet and he had no clue. She gave me the name and told me to “google”. This is absolutely insane. How the hell am I ordering from your restaurant supporting your business and you tell the customer to “google” the ingredients inside of a meal that YOU are preparing.
In 2025 not allergies are very common so I expect you to have some knowledge at the bare minimum or even be willing to help out. At the end of the phone call she said something in her language which I presume was Portuguese and then proceeded to tell me that she was too busy to help me even though I had a genuine allergy concern. Not to mention this powder/flour or whatever the substance is is not listed on the menu on Uber Eats so it’s very difficult for me to research which is why I went directly to the restaurant.
Furthermore, I am utterly disgusted at the service I’ve ordered from this restaurant before and I generally thought the food was quite good but to show the lack of interest for people who have allergies and they disgusting Customer service I highly do not recommend this restaurant save your money. Support businesses that know the ingredients of what they are cooking. Do better!!!

I’ve just seen the pathetic excuse from the restaurant and to be honest reading all the reviews, the Customer service is pure trash !! the condescending attitude and defensive nature in which you respond is disgusting.
You’re talking pure nonsense about a “nut free restaurant” as that was not explained when I phoned. The girl could barely speak English.!!! I was the person who Assumed the powder/flower was cassava up to now I still don’t know what it is. I asked her multiple times she told me she doesn’t know what the name of it is in English. She then told me to google. I asked her about five times so don’t give me a education on cassava obviously I know that which is the reason why I SAID IT however, I wanted to know if the powder has been mixed any type of nut or peanut as it appeared to have some type of seasoning.
The description on Uber Eats clearly states “mixed beans with pork and rice”. There is not a single mention of cassava, so please do not LIE.
It doesn’t say anywhere On the website that your restaurant is nut free, even if that was the case as soon as I mentioned the word nuts that should’ve been the first thing out of her mouth but she spent 15 minutes arguing with me and talking crap. Your restaurant is trash. The business is horrendous. You as a manager and a business owner are very defensive. Do better at learning how to accept critique. This was not an opportunity to destroy your business. This was a genuine concern about a nut allergy which could’ve simply been explained as soon as I made the call about an allergy, the person on the phone should’ve told me “we do not use NUTS in the Kitchen, simple as that! telling me to “google” is out of line ! Firstly yesterday was my mum’s birthday, what was to be a happy night became really stressful night I had a table booked for 8pm yesterday, as soon as I arrived at the restaurant there was no one to welcome us at the entrance, but I already had my name on the table so I sat down. A waitress came to write my starter, like in any other restaurant after the starter I would order the main course, about 1 hour later after we complained a lot, the waitress said the food was on its way, so we thought, good if the starter it took this long let's order the main so when the starters arrives they will be preparing the main and it won't take so long Well… I was completely wrong The starters takes 1hour and 15 min to be served And the food was really cold , it not just that The main course took 1 hour and 20 min to be served. The food was terrible cold not good at all. I have complained to the staffs which said that they were running out of staffs And there was only one chef in the kitchen
We paid in total £189.00 to be served cold food, to get stressed and to wait for more than 2hours to be served I don’t recommend this restaurant at all The restaurant is nice designed has a good music but terrible management!!! TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT If you want to pay a lot of money to be served cold food and to get stress this is your place otherwise If you want quality run away from this place

Read moreI would like to express my frustration regarding my reservation today. I reserved a table for 14 people. The service was terrible! The waitress didn't speak Portuguese or English. There were several mistakes in the order, we waited 1 hour for the food, when only the food for the children and one adult arrived, who ate without anything to drink because the waitress hadn't included the drink in the order. I decided to check and the waitress hadn't included 3 dishes in the order, we had to wait another hour. Before going to the establishment, I had checked the prices online and when I got there, the prices on the menu were more expensive. I felt ridiculed in front of my guests, because they were all frustrated with my choice of restaurant. We went to lunch together and each of us ate at a different time. If that were the case, we would each eat at our own home. Absurd!!! We paid more than we expected and had terrible service. I didn't say anything when I paid because I had already been disrespected enough and the only thing I wanted to do was satisfy my hunger, which after waiting 2 hours was desperate (this is because the restaurant wasn't full) and leave the establishment. The food I ordered for 2 people according to the menu, you served enough for 1 person. When I complained to the manager, she made faces and didn't apologize or look me in the eye, she just took the plate and gave it to the waitress.
