Laagha’s — Restaurant in London

Customer Service - took a while but we got there in the end. They were a lot of customers to serve so yeah.

Taste - The special “Laagha’s” sauce, didn’t help bring out the flavours. Actually, ended up being too sweet to eat. There wasn’t a moorish flavour. You know that feeling of wanting more after a bite. My family said the waffles became unnecessary because it was so sweet. Overpowering cinnamon flavour. The chicken and meat were cooked to perfection. The chips again, were spiced well but too well. Meaning too much. I think a little bit of spice goes a long way.

Portion - the portion size is quite big. So that’s one star.

Presentation - looks appetising, and . That’s where the good part ends though. 2 stars.

If the chips were less salted, the waffles less sweet, remove the Laagha’s sauce and make it an overall savoury meal, that would’ve been so good Sometimes less is more.

Recommend - I will not be purchasing again but you should give it a try, especially if you have a sweet tooth.

I used to love getting the waffles from here. They’re so good.... until one day I went in (this was about 2 months ago) and a lady was working there. I made my order and turned around to help my daughter sit on the stool. When I turned back, I saw the lady behind the counter dig something out of her 2 front teeth. She then Looked at it, flicked it off her fingers and walked over to make my waffle. I was like “are you being for real???” The guy that was working with her said “what’s the problem?” But she knew what the problem was cos she had realised I’d seen her. She didn’t say anything. She just walked over to the sink and washed her hands and then put gloves on. I then told them I wanted him to make my waffle. Not her. He proceeded to make my waffle but what disturbed me after that was that he removed the waffles from the pan and threw them onto this table. They were all hitting the splash back which didn’t look clean. So I just left. I placed two orders with this shop today (26/9/20) one order was through justeat and they got the order completely wrong. I don't eat meat or chicken so I ordered a plantain waffle with egg and cheese. My friend ordered a chicken with plantain. They delivered two chicken waffles, i know sometimes orders get confusing after a long day thats OK. I rang and they apologised for their error and we got a refund. I was envious of my friends order so I placed another order through ubereats. I ordered the same plantain waffle with extra egg and cheese and waited for my order to arrive. The order came after waiting 40 minutes and it was wrong again they gave me chicken again. This is awful customer service and I am disgusted about the service I received. To top it off they never picked up the phone after ringing over 8 times. Very very very...
