This place is a family run business and their food is varied and of a high quality. It has been for years.
I can blatantly see that there are some fake reviews on here trying to discredit their business, it’s clearly a coordinated attack, which is disgusting considering the struggle independent businesses have had throughout COVID and lockdown.
I have eaten here tons of times and never had any of these issues. There’s no female chefs in the kitchen and the wife doesn’t wear makeup and cuts her nails due to her religious hygiene. Come and see for yourself if you don’t believe me.
I know the owners from being a regular for many years. I’m a fussy eater with sensitive digestion and if these fake reviews were true, I’m sure I would have noticed. The food is definitely not watery. I would hate to see this place shutdown due to sabotage. It’s one of my favourite venues for me, my family and friends. The restaurant staff are such a friendly team. They always customise and remember my preferences.
Please don’t believe the liars, we’re supposed to support independent businesses in this climate, not attack...
Read moreHad many a good dining experience in the original restaurant on the other side of the road. But my recent visit to its new location was pretty poor. 6 other diners on tables of 5 and 1, so not busy. Even before being seated drinks and poppadoms were offered , which came very quickly, and where any further efficiency ended.
A glass had a crack and chip in it, which was highlighted. A new glass was given but had to decant the beverage to the new glass ourselves possibly contains glass !
Another bottle of beer was ordered but not offered a fresh glass which contained the warm remains of the previous bottle.
I'm all for efficient L.E.D. lighting but they have got it very wrong for a restaurant. Too bright and too white !
Overall the waitress was very inattentive and the order had to be chase up a number of times, which for the number of diners was far too long in coming. We were never asked if we wanted more drinks or how our meal was.
The food, when it arrived, was of good quality but the overall dining experience was poor.
Sort out the light g and the staff and...

Firstly, the food was an hour late with no apology or explanation given. The female staff member I spoke to on the phone hung up on me as I was trying to lodge a complaint. Not a great start and put a negative edge to the evening before delivery had even been taken.
When the food did arrive it was a bit of a sad experience...
Chilli fish bhaji was greasy and had no taste. Onion bhaji had some flavour but was very dry. Saag paneer is overly sugary and far too sweet, hard to taste any flavour. Sarsay maach was bland, tasted burned and not enough fish for the price. Garlic naan was good (come on, hard to mess up), but my paratha was greasy and more like a pitta bread than a traditional paratha. 3 poppadoms...?!
We will definitely not be ordering from here again as exceedingly unimpressed with both customer service and quality of food. Save your time and money and...
