Mortlake Cemetery — Local services in London

Spoke to Rebbeca in September 2022 who is supposed to be in management regarding the decimation of 2 graves of my siblings. I always keep the plots well flowered and very much well kept. A notice was put saying flowers/trees were not supposed to be at a certain height and I took time and effort to adhere to their rules and policy and cut down anything that was not to their recommendation. On visiting the graves 2 weeks after doing the work I noted the so called keepers had literally decimated the graves and left them with bare mud. I sent Rebbeca the before and after photos and emailed her for an explanation and called numerous times where she fobbed me off and said she would look into it. I explained the situation and went further to say all the other burial plots in Mortlake still have flowers and trees! Of course she has not got back to me and we are in 2023. The problem here is the small area where Muslims are buried had been ripped out of all flowers and trees yet looking at the non Muslim bigger part of the cemetery it’s blooming with flowers and trees on all plots! Am I to believe this is racism on the dead??? I am disgusted and really angry at Rebbecas non response and will be taking LBHF to court for this. The old part of the cemetery is beautiful. My only complaint is that. We got locked in. It was our fault we got there late and lost track of time but I would have thought, like other cemeteries someone would go around and remind people it would soon be closing. We got to the gate to leave just on closing time and not a person in sight, so, I assume they'd come earlier than they should and locked up. There is no number visible to call out of hours. We called the police and it took them a while to locate someone in the council, who in fact turned out to be very unhelpful. In the end we called the fire brigade. In the last three years since covid Mortlake cemetery has been taken over by badges. Who have you obviously have more rights than our loved ones buried in the cemetery . After having complained about the state of the graves having been fenced off headstones overturned and graves been dug up by the badges . Still waiting for at least for phone call back from them to acknowledge at least...
