I visited this studio for the puppy yoga session, and wanted to leave this review as my partner and I unfortunately left disappointed.

The German shepherd puppies were adorable, however there was a litter of 6 puppies and 9 of us in the class, meaning that not everyone had attention from a dog. (Looking at the bookings, 16 is the maximum number of people that can book which would have been way too many for the size of the litter). I understand that the puppy shouldn’t be bound to one person and the instructors can’t determine where/ who the puppy goes to, but nothing was done by the instructors to facilitate the session and move the puppies around so everyone had a puppy cuddle. This is not my first puppy yoga session and in other places this is what was done to ensure customer satisfaction. The girls seemed more interested in their phones/ one instructor sat in the pen with the dogs for most of the session.

The puppies were put away for the 15 minutes of ‘yoga’ - in previous sessions they were left out in the studio to run around/ be cuddled, hence the whole point of doing yoga with puppies, so don’t actually expect to be doing puppy yoga here. The instructor also went through the exercises so quickly, it was hard to keep up with the session.

Lastly, a lady who I presume was the breeder was taking videos/ pictures most of the session. I can’t seem to find anything about consent in the ticket booking. I believe something was mentioned about filming for a psychologist? But couldn’t really hear over the puppies noises.

This will be my first and last visit to this studio. I have been to a few studios now for puppy yoga and this by far the worst one I have attended. A real shame for the money...

Delighted Yoga Hub opened locally in Sheen. The classes are superb with a great range of teachers/personalities catering for all abilities. Not only are the classes great but there is a great vibe/community spirit at Yoga Hub. Lara (owner) is passionate about her practice attending classes herself ensuring all her customers are happy and well catered for. She is continually investing in the facilities on a daily basis providing everything a yogi may require. After taking advantage of the intro offer I can honestly say I have got the yoga bug and signed up for the monthly package, reaping the health benefits associated with a regular practice and great compliment to other sporting activities in my case cycling.
