Really lovely cafe spoilt only by the exceptionally rude owner ! Witnessed her being rude to multiple customers both before and after me, myself included. I had already visited twice before: once when she wasn’t present, and the atmosphere was the complete opposite; relaxed, friendly and welcoming. However, both today’s visit and a visit a few weeks ago when the owner was also present, were both met with snappy remarks, passive aggressive pointed statements, and awkward lapses of full minutes of silence to fill an excessively long wait for a few coffees....

Every cup is perfect, rich, and made with so much care, it genuinely feels like a treat every single time. The owner is divine. Her warmth, energy, and passion radiate through the space and she’s built a team that is equally wonderful and welcoming. Serving coffee in takeaway cups even when you’re staying in feels a bit wasteful, and part of the charm of a nice coffee shop is enjoying your drink properly in the space (especially in a residential area).
