Little Bird — Restaurant in London

This is the first time I've been back to one of the restaurants in this independent chain since a disastrous Valentine's night in 2018 at Rock n Rose. I have to say, the service here was even worse than I received previously. We recently held our annual Christmas party in Little Bird Chiswick and when we arrived were met by a totally unfriendly and disinterested staff member who pointed us in the direction of our table with a cursory wave. The, so called, bar manager, refused to actually serve the drinks and instead relied on the, so called, floor manager, who spent half the evening eating his own dinner instead of serving the customers. Drinks waited on the bar for at least 10 minutes and were only brought to the table after I got upset and spoke to the bar manager. Dessert menus took equally long to arrive and, again, service was only resumed after I beckoned the floor manager over who promptly said "What, am I not allowed to eat?" Not during service, no!! Suffice to say, I will not be returning to this establishment, or any of the other outlets run by Lorraine, and won't recommend this chain to any of my clients, or the clients of my colleagues who run an esteemed local beauty salon. It's shame the same level of attention to detail is not invested in the staff as it is...

Such fantastic potential but let down massively by a few little tweets... I've been here twice now as I've just moved to the area, I will happily say that the gentlemen at the bar are wonderful when it comes to service, making cocktails and being friendly, the food and drinks are also top notch and the atmosphere equally as fabulous. However after dining here with my family we overheard a lady loudly complaining that our glasses were empty, at first I thought she was a fellow diner wanting our table but it appeared she actually works for the bar. We were then presented the bill without having asked for it and ushered out, I would have happily stayed for another after dinner aperitif! It's sad to admit that I was actually a little frightened to go back feeling I would be unwelcome for sipping a glass of wine after work, however I returned a couple of weeks later and the same thing happened. The same lady could be overheard loudly telling the staff that there were empty glasses in the room which is really awkward and not only makes you feel unwanted but also unwelcome to stay for another round! I don't know who she is but she is letting the business down!...

This vibrant spot offers a unique dining experience with a brilliant fusion of Mediterranean and Asian-inspired dishes. It’s one of the most beautifully decorated restaurants I’ve been to with a quiet and comfortable setting. It also provides a romantic ambiance with dimmed lights, creating the perfect setting for an exceptional meal with friends or family.

Sharing is highly encouraged here, making it an ideal spot for gathering with friends to enjoy a variety of delicious dishes. As part of our evening, our highlights include the Blackened Cod Fillet, Beef Tataki and Seabass Tempura Tacos along with the crispiness of their Prawn & Avocado Tempura, each bursting with flavour. Most importantly, their signature cocktails, prepared by award-winning mixologists, was certainly a delightful drinking experience and even if you’re not up for food, defiantly head down for a couple of drinks!. We highly recommend trying their Pink Dream (mocktail) or Fusion...
