The service: 0/10 The food: 9/10 I will start on a positive note: the food is delicious and well prepared.

Now onto the service: it is appalling and EXTREMELY SLOW. Snail-pace slow! We waited TWO (I repeat: TWO) hours for our food! And people who ordered their food AFTER us received their food BEFORE us, even though we ordered a good 30+ minutes before most of the people there!

Two groups of people even finished their meal and were ready to leave before we even received our food! And everyone who were there for takeaway food received their food VERY quickly before anyone in the restaurant.

I read previous reviews saying the customer service is bad and the service is slow but it wasn't just slow, it was SNAIL-PACE SLOW. Ridiculous. Unacceptable.

We were not the only ones experiencing this. I saw and heard another person on another table repeatedly ask how much longer she would have to wait for her food too!

The excuse given to us by the restaurant for this slow service was because we were a large group (8 people) and because they were short of staff that evening. This is rubbish. Lack of staff is not our problem. We shouldn't have had to wait 2 hours for our meal full stop. No excuses. Plus there were tables of people near to us (including a group of 6) who received their food before us...so the size of our group was not a good excuse at all.

The service was SO SLOW that one of us in my group went out to a nearby shop to buy a drink because they were taking so long for ours! That is ridiculous! We shouldn't have to do that in a restaurant! Also, it took them 20 minutes to tell us they had no more ice cream in the flavour we wanted. TWENTY MINUTES!

Complete waste of time. Inattentive service. SNAIL-PACE SLOW SERVICE. They didn't even seem apologetic AT ALL. Even though the young lady and young guy serving us were nice and pleasant (and the young guy was rushing out to give me my food after realising we had waited for 2 hours), the rest of the staff didn't seem to care at all!

The food is really good but the service has put me off ever coming here again. I can find good food somewhere else where they won't...

Second time visiting this restaurant, absolute garbage 1. This restaurant was on 1 star because the restaurant had dirty equipment which hasn’t been cleaned for so long,eg toilet, cooker, extractor , poor condition hygiene and the restaurant was stripped off all their delivery app because of the food hygiene rating

They are serving you guys frozen meals NOTHING IS FRESH EXPECT THE JERK CHICKEN and I don’t need to explain how dusty their grill pan are absolutely disgusting, every food is stock to freezer between 1 weeks or 2 and the taste is not the same GUYS WHEN YOU SPEND YOUR MONEY YOU NEED TO GET THE VALUE OF YOUR MONEY

The chef uses his bare hands to strip chicken after using detergent no sign of gloves no food and safety precautions I got the video of the chef doing it guys live o proof

After a conversation with the staff , they are paid 8.00£ per hr which is under the minimum wage and all the staff are 50 plus That’s concludes to slavery YOU CANT DO THAT MAN . This will be reported to hmrc and YOU DONT GET PAID FOR OVERTIME AND AN INSIDE IMFORMATION - the owner doesn’t have money to paid the staff that’s why he puts service charge on you guys bills and all the prices of the food has hit the sky — the women told me she didn’t get paid for 9 months since September 2023 t0 jun 2023 the owner keeps saying at the end of the week and end up no showing himself at...

Been once before and had no complaints about the food however, very disappointed with the food on this visit. The saltfish fritters were lacking in saltfish and the main course was less than average. The goat was fatty and the plantain was hard and dry. There was something on the plate which I think was meant to be sweet potato which was also as dehydrated as the plantain. This could have been forgiven and remedied with a bit of humility and customer service from the chef. Instead we were palmed off with lame excuses about why the plantain was so hard and dry like we've never cooked and eaten it in our lives before! We were even laughed at like that sub-standard food was acceptable. Shame on you! No replacement, discount or complementary item was offered. The toilets also need improvements. Silver gorilla tape holding together the panelling and peeling moisture-stained walls is not a good look. We will not be back and I wouldn't recommend this place any longer. You need to step...
