Hello World, take the time to read this whole review, you'll be glad you did, trust me. Very very slow and unhelpful service, cold incorrect food, cold coffee (I ordered a hot one not an iced one!) but at least it was the right type of coffee. Seriously don't bother, go to another store. Third time my order has taken a stupidly long time to be made and second time I've been given the wrong food. Are you sitting comfortably? OK then I'll begin, Once upon a time in North Acton (Friday 3/8/18 at 8.17am to be exact), I order my breakfast and only a breakfast wrap meal with a flat white coffee, I didn't order 25 meals, then at 8.31am I ask about the order as I am now late for work (I only work 3 minutes from the store), no real help from staff member who calls a "manager", who seems annoyed to be asked a question and is rude and unhelpful, I ask for a refund due to the delay so the manager stares at her till and mutters about checking what time I ordered, I say 8.17am, it is on the receipt I just handed you. She disappears out the back and hands me my order, amazing. Now I know what your thinking, why didn't I check my order and yes that was an oversight on my behalf but I was now late for work, I jump on my scooter and get to work, (luckily my boss was also late so no harm, no foul, as they say :-), I start drinking my coffee (only 4 minutes have elapsed since I left the store and the food / drink were in a box. Take a guess kids, thatttttttttttttssss right, cold coffee but wait it gets better, but how I hear you ask............well upon opening the bag containing my delicious breakfast wrap with brown sauce I am confronted with a limp looking bacon roll. But hold the front page, it has got brown sauce so they managed to get that right, hurrah I hear you cry but alas no for said bacon roll was also cold and was thrown in the bin after just 2 bites. A sad ending to a sad tale, the morale of this story is that if you want a quick (it is a fast food restaurant after all), hot (correct) breakfast then go somewhere else, or in my case get up on time and make it yourself, snooze buttons are Evil and must be banned! Read moreI know this place was "new" once, but i think that novelty has worn off. As someone else mentioned avoid the drive-thru. Orders always get mixed up. I say always because I'm up this way and it is the nearest one. But saying avoid the drive-thru doesn't mean it gets any better when you go inside. Its just as bad. I had 4 drinks to take away and the server asks if i want a cup holder. Really? I can't recall on any one occasion where the order was correct. Forgetting to put the fries in with 4 meals. Ask for a double cheeseburger and got a quarter pounder with cheese (can't complain there) - they need to look at these reviews and do something about the training because it doesn't seem to get better. And today (11.01.2018) - drive thru (AGAIN) asked for a chocolate milkshake and got a strawberry one. I had to sit in the car and keep repeat chocolate and strawberry to see if they sound alike. Glad to confirm, they dont!
UPDATE: 23/09/2018 - Having been back to this place many a time I've had more issues. Even to the point where I've had enough and drove back as I was missing a double cheeseburger. I go and complain and I was told I should check - which is a fair point but as a consumer you should expect the food you order up be correct, that is part of the job. I've seen them screens they look at. Can't be that hard.
Now to today 23/09/18 - I ordered good for 4 people. Now with that I ordered a quarter pounder with cheese meal with extra pickle..a quarter pounder with cheese by itself... and a reg choc shake. Now this time I checked. Everything was there. I made sure. Go back to my partners and she's like "oh I should have ordered with extra pickle" so I let her have mine (baring in mind she didn't eat out straight away) - my son had the reg choc shake which after a few sips found out it was vanilla. So later on my partner sends me a pic of her burger with the caption I shouldn't have swapped. They managed to make a quarter pounder with cheese WITHOUT cheese and no mustard. This...
Read moreVery disappointed with this branch, I’ve never had issues with McDonald’s until I ordered from here. My family were coming to visit me for the weekend and this was our local McDonald’s, first morning we came for McDonald’s breakfast, had no hot chocolate but were able to give us something else which was great. Returned to our hotel to find that one of our meals was not packed. Called up and let them know and the guy Sharuk was grateful enough to let me collect it the next morning. Came next morning to receive the missing item and order breakfast again, we made sure to check everything again and it was a good thing we did, they messed up two of our drink orders, and when we let the women know who gave us the drinks, she repeated what we said and just walked away without fixing it, we called for her multiple times and she ignored us, another women came and we let her know and the rude lady fixed our drinks for us, we then checked the bag and they had forgotten another food order again for the second day in a row, we let them know and received the items. When we arrived back, one of the Fanta drinks were terrible, it tasted like water so we had to share our drinks, they forgot to add the syrup for the pancakes, this place is so unorganised, and since we had left the McDonald to eat in the hotel, we couldn’t ask for a refund.
