Tempted not to give this 5 stars so it doesn’t get too busy (selfishly), but Miod Malina is a true local Acton gem. The daily specials change every day and it’s great value at £14/15 (can’t remember exactly how much it was). Today they had the cucumber soup and beer battered cod fillet with potatoes/chips and it was more than enough to feed one person. We also ordered the pork schnitzel with potatoes and potato pancakes with forest mushroom sauce. The potato pancakes were underwhelming, but the sauce packed a punch! Having worked in hospitality, one of the things I truly appreciated about Miod Malina was its cleaniless - from the tables to the floor to its bathroom. The restaurant was half full on a Friday night and they only had one front of house staff member with another person from the kitchen helping out. The service was efficient and friendly. Other things to note: - They have two outdoor tables that sit 4pax - Think they only have one high chair - The set menu also comes with a drink but because they were busy we didn’t get one and I didn’t realise it came with one until we left and paid - Some of the dishes come with a side of pickled cabbage which is delicious - Desserts looked amazing but we didn’t have time to try it

Tucked away in North Acton, this small Polish gem is a culinary surprise. Offering a taste of home with its authentic flavors, the menu showcases traditional dishes prepared with a genuine touch. I went twice during my short stay in this area. First time I tried their version of Borscht with a croquette (crunchy and not oily), along with potato dumplings and a side of sour cream that brought me warm memories, accompanied by compote and cherry soplica to drink. Second time I tried the duck leg (in the photo along with soplica and the unmissable addition of sour cream): crunchy tasty parts, flavourful, completely mouth watering. What sets this place apart is the perfect fusion of homely goodness and exquisite presentation. The small size of the restaurant adds to the charm, creating an intimate setting where the warmth of the staff complements the flavorful dishes.

Simply put - the best Polish restaurant in London

We ate regularly at Miod Malina when we lived in London. We moved the the Midlands 2.5 years ago and despite trying every Polish restaurant we could across the midlands, we’ve yet to find a complete restaurant experience that beats Miod Malina. So, we just couldn’t pass an opportunity to eat with Zaneta (the host and owner) when back in London for the day.

The menu has had a makeover since we last visited, the food and presentation has been elevated and there’s a very adventurous side to the new menu. Classic Polish favourites still have a place alongside new creations like the half Duck with Demi Glaze and dumplings which was a winner. My partner had the Chicken Roulade which she described as fresh, healthy, very tasty and well presented. If you are lucky enough to visit then make sure you have dessert, the brownie was fantastic but the Apple Pie is without a doubt the best we’ve had anywhere in the UK.

Menu and food aside, the service and the ambience at this restaurant is something many restauranteurs have forgotten how to deliver. It might be down to Zaneta’s hospitality and a team of well trained staff that care about their diners comfort and experience. It’s the kind of service you used to get in neighbourhood restaurants where the owner took the time to get to know you, never forgot your name and treated you like close fiends or family every time you visit. It really is that good.

If in London, then make the time to visit this lovely restaurant, you’ll enjoy every aspect of the food, service and Miod Malina’s...

If you're looking for an authentic Polish dining experience in London, Miód Malina is the place to go! This restaurant is an absolute gem, offering delicious traditional Polish food, outstanding service, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere – all at very reasonable prices.

From the moment you step inside, you are greeted with a cozy and inviting ambiance that makes you feel at home. The menu is full of classic Polish dishes, all made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Whether you’re craving pierogi, żurek, or a perfectly cooked schabowy, every dish is full of authentic flavors and prepared with great care.

What truly makes Miód Malina special is the exceptional service. Both Ms. Żaneta and Ms. Agnieszka take wonderful care of the guests, ensuring that everyone feels welcome and comfortable. Their warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail make the dining experience even more enjoyable.

A huge thank you to the kitchen team, who did an amazing job preparing such delicious food! Every dish was cooked to perfection, beautifully presented, and full of flavor.

With fantastic food, friendly and attentive staff, and great prices, Miód Malina is a must-visit. Whether you’re Polish and missing home-cooked meals or simply looking for a wonderful place to dine, this restaurant is an absolute winner.

Highly recommended! Thank you, Miód...
