if only there was a negative review on Google Maps, it would really help to justify the current situation with the customer service I received at this branch of McDonald's.
Yesterday I had travelled all the way from from my house to the ASDA Park Royal McDonald's which takes around 30 minutes on an average to buy a walking distance only to to redeem my discount coupon since I'm a loyal customer of different Mcdonald branch elsewhere.
The person to take my order served me my orders for a takeaway. When I reached home, I could received only a filet fish burger without the patty. You know how ridiculous that sounds?? Have a look at the images. When i called them back and explained them about the situation, the person who took my order that goes by the name of Niti Shah told me that she was sorry and you can come next day to collect the entire meal you ordered on us.
I did go today and there was a new manager. He looked with disinterest and utterly disrespectful when I told him about it. Took the receipt and threw it in the bin. Then when I seen the new receipt, it only had one filet fish burger and nothing else on it. He again gave me a disgusted look and said its not my lookout since no one told me about it. He told someone from the staff to just order fries and drink. The burger came with the fries but I was made to wait like an idiot for 10 mins before I just went away with whatever respect I had after this incident. I don't want to sound racist or offend anyone but the manager who I had to deal with was a tall, dark with specs... I couldn't even ask for his name since he just disappeared and didn't seem interested whatsoever.
Begs the question: was it my fault? No. Was I dealt correctly with this situation? Absolutely not. Do McDonald's really care about their loyal customers? I placed an order for food last night an hour before they closed, but they never cancelled or updated me about my order to say they couldn’t make it. Instead they had me waiting three hours for no reason, from 10pm - 1am until the order finally cancelled (there was no way for me to cancel this order myself).
If you can accept any more orders or know you can’t fulfil them, you should cancel the order or turn the order option off online.
It’s a HUGE inconvenience to the customer having them wait 3 hours and no way of cancelling or getting an update. It’s unfair to mess people around (especially during the early hours) due to poor planning by management or whoever is in charge of the online orders.
