Cues can be long but get your food served fast. Maybe no more then 5 mins wait. They have like 8 self service machines, which accept card only and three tills if you want to pay by cash. Staff are friendly. The straws etc are now stored behind the counter and given with your meal. I have not come across a time when they haven't had something I wanted not stocked or given me the incorrect order. Has plenty of seating upstairs too and tablets. Although the other day I did say a lady in normal clothes walk round the back with a newborn baby in her arms that I think should be against health and safety regulations. My one negative is the toilets, it's a terrible idea and the space is so small you are literally squashing against people to get past. The toilets basically have these lids that you open to use and close to flush to save water. They do not look clean and I can't imagine how unhygienic this method of toilet flushing is. It gets very busy and the security on the door is a good thing, but it goes over board. 3 months ago I was with my daughter 10years old. We had to go up to extra sitting which is the on the 3rd floor I followed someone as well sat down with my daughter, eating then the security guard came up told us to leave and said, Your not meant to be up here, please can you all move down stairs, very abrupt, like we were criminals??? There was quiteva few of us up there by this time. I was so annoyed I paid to eat in and to get push out it was very, very busy in there, there was no where to sit?? (What is that 3rd floor for, if you can't use it if its that busy????) I complained to the front to manager my daughter got a free mcflurry which was nice, but that not enough just wanted to relax to eat. Well that's is never, ever again I go there. Bad. Read moreI visited this McDonald’s today and unfortunately had a disappointing experience by this manager. The other staff were actually quite pleasant as well as the security officer, Nuru. I accidentally threw my food away and went to speak to the team to explain what had happened. I wasn’t expecting a guarantee of a replacement, but I did expect some compassion and basic courtesy.
Instead, I was met with rudeness and dismissiveness. The manager even called me ‘stupid’ outside which I will be escalating— it is unacceptable from anyone, let alone a customer service representative. This left me feeling embarrassed and upset. People were shocked that she said such. It is all on record. She also thought she could call the security to intimidate me.
Mistakes happen on both sides, but how they are handled matters. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and ensures staff are trained to respond with professionalism...
