Horrible service! the two woman that are on the front serving the customers today has been appalling. Disgracefully unhelpful telling me I have to order online as they take a min £5 which is lies. The puff puff I went to pick up a couple days prior to today, I paid only 1 portion which is £1.50 which was paid contactless through Apple Pay. Now today they made up some rubbish that it’s now min £5 and even how they addressed me in a non-respectful manner was what that ticked me over the edge.
Paid online using the QR code on the poster they have, and now one of the woman told me you need to go to the other branch as you ordered it on their system. She didn’t help me to confirm what branch to pick, she just said you ordered from a branch down the 5mins walk away and then dismissed it like that.
Honestly how do you make a place of business feel welcome when you have unmannered, stuck up workers who...
Read moreI can't get over how rude the staff are here. I've been visiting tasty's for about 5 years (the other Woolwich branch) and it just so happens on the last 2 occasions I've come here, on this occasion whilst entering at 8:45pm I asked politely if they where still open, to which the response was "what do you want" I responded with amala to which the response was "it's finished" I asked what was left and she said "pepper soup" all very abruptly and without taking her eyes away from her phone. Totally disrespectful and rude , I felt compelled to tell her but I simply started that it was rude to not even attempt eye contact with a customer when actually all I wanted to do was buy food. Surprise surprise she looked up from her phone but had nothing to say. The last occasion was no better, I should have learnt my lesson. I can officially say I will not be back again, Tasty food or not manners...
Read moreDuring my visit to Tasty African restaurant in Woolwich, my initial intention was to support a business within my own community. However, my experience took an unexpected turn when I encountered an elderly lady with tribal marks. She appeared quite tired and didn't exhibit any signs of hospitality, not even a smile. Instead of acknowledging the waiting line, I expected her to call the next person, but she simply stared at me. It felt as if she wanted me to make the first move, perhaps by greeting her or showing deference as is sometimes customary in Nigeria, where a bit of rudeness can be seen as a seasoning to food. Unfortunately, this encounter resulted in the worst customer service I've ever experienced at any establishment around the world, and it was particularly disheartening coming from a member of my...
