Meat Street — Restaurant in London

After seeing some of the viral videos about this place I thought I’d give it a try….and oh boy was it amazing!!!! I got the rib eye loaded fries and a brisket burger, eating it fresh off the grill on nearby seating in the high street. It was cooked to perfection with the meat so tender it was falling apart and the seasoned chips and sauces were sublime. The burger was also nice with the chef spicing up the sauce for me so it had a little kick. I would 100% recommend this place and already encouraged friends and family to visit. I’ll be going back soon! The service was great with the staff offering suggestions on sauces and combinations, even giving me a piece of meat whilst preparing my order to check I was happy with it (which was so succulent!!!) It’s a food truck on the high street opposite Argos, so plenty of space for kids to play around too....

When I got to Meat Street, I had already decided what I wanted as I had checked the menu on their Instagram page the menu apparently on the Instagram page is incorrect as they are a "new business" so you'll see chips marked as £2 on the page but on their menu that's on the van it will show £3.50 with chimichurri and cheese, but wait for it you don't get cheese and chimichurri as they are a "new business" and their menu is wrong. Their excuse for why they were overcharging me and displaying the wrong menu was because they're a "new business". Not at any point was I told that it would be just plain chips. the chips were undercooked and very underwhelming. I was absolutely blown away with the quality of the meat they used for the steak. The fact that they’re serving black angus steak for such a reason price is something that you will not find anywhere else in London. I have ordered the steak and chips with chimichurri on top and it was worth every penny. I had the opportunity to be served by the owner and he was very outstanding when it came to offer top quality customer service and had a very constructive conversation with him about his business. Other than that, this establishment met my expectations and more. Will be coming here again and can’t wait to try more...
