I made a reservation for approx 15 people to eat at your restaurant Mien Tay 5 in Wood Green for my birthday meal. This reservation was made in January 2018 and the person on the phone took down my details, said it was all booked but all I had to do was ring back the day before to confirm the numbers.
I had been ringing all day on February 16th, whilst I was trying to enjoy myself on my day off. I also spent all of yesterday trying to get through to your restaurant, to no avail.
I decided to take time out of the day and head down to the restaurant early to see if I could get my table. I showed up to your restaurant yesteday and it was closed. Read moreMien Tay is definitely one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in London (and I have tried many of them). The Pho is outstanding with a broth so tasty that you want to drink all of it. The service is what it is; sometimes is good, sometimes the owner might be a bit grumpy and so as consequence seems a bit unkind. But again for my point of view, considering the restaurant overall, I don't expect anything...
Read moreMy family and I highly recommend Mien Tay Vietnamese Restaurant! The food is absolutely delicious, and the staffs are very friendly and attentive. I especially loved the betel leaf rolls, salt and pepper sea bass, beef pho, and red beans drink.
The betel leaf rolls are a refreshing and flavourful appetiser. The salt and pepper sea bass is a delicious main course. The fish is perfectly cooked and seasoned. The beef pho is a hearty and satisfying soup based dish. The broth is rich and flavourful, and the beefs are perfectly cooked. The red beans drink is a sweet and refreshing drink made with red beans and coconut milk.
