I would give zero stars if I could. I’m deeply disappointed by the complete disregard for food safety, customer care, and basic responsibility shown by this restaurant. I placed a phone order for collection and clearly explained to the staff member that I have a severe, life-threatening nut allergy. She assured me that none of the dishes I ordered contained nuts, and that the kitchen would be informed.
When I got home and began to eat, I opened the last container to find it clearly full of nuts. I stopped eating immediately and called the restaurant. The same woman confirmed my order and casually stated that two of the five dishes actually do contain nuts. No apology, no urgency—just a suggestion that I drive 15 minutes back so they could remake the two dishes.
Minutes later, she called again to say she thinks one of the dishes might be safe and that I should “try it and let her know.” Let that sink in—I was asked to test a dish that could put my life at risk. I explained again, as calmly as I could, that this is not a situation where you gamble on an allergic reaction.
When I arrived to return the food, she opened each box in front of me and began questioning how much I had eaten, as if that were the issue. I had tasted some before discovering the nuts—but the fact remains: I was misinformed, my safety was compromised, and I lost all trust in their process.
They then told me their solution would be to microwave the rest of the food. At that point, I made it clear that I wouldn’t be eating any of it and asked for a full refund.
This experience wasted over an hour of my time, and more importantly, put my health at risk. Food allergies are not a joke—they’re a matter of life and death. The lack of accountability, training, and basic care shown here is shocking. I will be reporting this incident to the relevant authorities and advising others to avoid this restaurant...

After 15 minutes of waiting the manager called me and asked me what is wrong. I explained again and she said she would send a portion of beef. I asked for an extra lot of prawn crackers and she told me it was £1.50, I said even though you messed up my order and I’m now waiting another half hour and everything’os gone cold? She said “well that’s a different issue” and gave me a load more attitude over a packet of complimentary prawn crackers that they give free with the meal anyway. Now waiting another half hour, beef still hasn’t arrived. Boyfriend Called to complain and was on the phone to the manager for a full ten minutes, I could here her on the phone arguing flat out. Terrible service and ruined meal. Not worth the hassle. Stick to Mé Me on Fulham Broadway. Extra order finally arrived at 8:40pm after ordering at 7:05. However, Vietnamese omelet with mixed mushrooms, whilst a bit different to what I had in Saigon, was delicious and close to the Saigon experience, and not something that I have seen anywhere else.
