Went for a lunch first time yesterday and won't be going again. Wanted to like this place because of the friendly service. Sadly I was left unable to work this morning due to food poisoning. Positives: - friendly lady at the till (blonde w/ glasses) - offered to top my coffee up with the remaining oat milk - spoilt for choice from on the menu (Sadly) negatives: - food poisoning symptoms started the same evening and full blown now (my thoughts - maybe the oat milk or the raw tomatoes in the sandwich? Chicken and bacon was fully cooked so I don't think it's that. Was working in the area on foot all day so had nothing else to eat but water until the symptoms kicked in on my way home...) - had 2 short fine hairs in my "mighty Bite club sandwich" - the condiment bottles looked this they've never been washed - had a layer of dust on the open squeeze nozzles and grubby black hand prints all over the bottle. They had regulars throughout the lunch break so maybe I was seriously unfortunate in my case but sadly I won't be trying again.

A very nice discovery! We always walk in front of this place but we never catch it open, it does breakfast and lunch only. The inside is very small, but cozy. It was very clean and the staff super kind with us. Is like a place for locals but I do suggest to anybody that wants a cheap and very good breakfast to pop into here. The food comes out fast as well. They do coffees an teas and they have juices and soft drinks too. They have a couple of tables outside. Only negative point is that unfortunately there is smell of food inside; it doesn’t come out (in winter at least) because the door stay closed so you will smell a little bit but is not a big deal. To come back more often!

Had the most positive surprise and experience in this little Eastend gem: my Dublin boi wanted a fry-up, so we popped in here. He went for the full breakfast, I happily spotted a Turkish breakfast option, with sucuk, the Turkish spicy garlic sausage - a proper delicacy when fried, as here, together with fried Halloumi cheese, olive, gherkins and eggs - lovely, I'll be back 👌

Upon discovering 2 bits of curly hair on my food at this Turkish Cafe Shop, immediately went to the cashier section to complain. The owner, Immediately after discovering the evidence on the plate, swept it off with his fingers, making them disappear of the plate, so that the colleagues couldn’t see, pretended to not see anything and made it look like I was looking to obtain free food ( since the discovery was made around 70% into the consumption of the meal) .

Argument for a refund was not successful, although £10.50 (cost of production around £2-3) is a miserable and pathetic amount to argue for. The shop owner has decided to lose a more or less regular customer ( visited the establishment more than 8 times in the last 6 months) forever than to refund £10.5.

It shows the desperate measures the owner is ready to take during the non busy January and February months.

Extremely pathetic, disgusting and immoral ownership, disguised by two younger more or less livelier front of house...

food and price is decent just normal cafe food HOWEVER the staff/ owner is extremely rude and unprofessional. upon ordering my food the lady asked me if i wanted a drink i said no which she then rolled her eyes and said “you don’t want anything to drink with your food?” the owner came over to me and said i shouldn’t bring outside drinks into the shop which i then apologised as i was not aware of this. the lady serving at the till then came over to me and told me again no outside drinks… i told her yes ive just been told but im not drinking it, its on the table because its too big to fit in my bag. she then picked up my drink and shoved it on top of my bag which was on the chair cross me. i was shocked at how they treated me over a drink??? will not be going...
