With the most unique flavours and designs, Milk has been an all-time favourite of mine. With no surprise Milk Run has gone beyond our expectations once again.

Always welcomed by a pleasant and warm team, the service and atmosphere was harmonious as usual. The range of pastries were excellent, my favourite being the peanut caramel and milk chocolate praline. Absolute chef’s kiss.

The real game changer for Milk has got to be the BBQ braised brisket and cheese toast. The explosion of flavours was breathtaking. Not to mention the menu provides halal options which is an added bonus!

We will definitely be coming back to explore the rest of the menu and try the seasonal pastries. But we definitely need more Milk Run’s...

Lovely local bakery/cafe tucked away in the residential side of Balham. This place is my absolute favourite! The atmosphere of the cafe is lovely, with indoor and outdoor seating available. It's gorgeous on a sunny day, and dog friendly! It can be busy on weekends but becomes quite steady throughout the day so the wait isn't too long and the service is always good. The bakery selection is amazing, there's lots to choose from but not too much where it's overwhelming. They do a weekend special each week too, which is fun to try. My husband and I go every weekend to try something different and it is always such a delight! The coffee is tasty and the pricing is very reasonable compared to other popular bakeries in...

I was really excited to try Milk Run but was disappointed by its mediocrity; this is another addition to London’s list of overhyped bakeries.

I ordered an almond croissant and my friend ordered the blueberry danish. Maybe we ordered the wrong items, but there are too many other bakeries to try, and re-visit, before we’ll consider returning to Milk Run.

The almond croissant was flakey and the mouth feel from the frangipane’s texture was a nice surprise. However, the texture didn’t make up for the lack of flavour.

The blueberry danish was nice, but standard. Again, nothing to shout home about.

Redeeming factors: cute indoor set up, and...

An early rise and walk over to Milk Run was worth it. Especially on a sunny Saturday morning to get in line before most, and all the park runners. The Selection of immaculately presented pastries 🥐🥮 was good, through a couple more savoury options would have been welcomed ( only two today ) However they do have a daily menu with awesome sounding/looking toasted sandwiches on there. Pastries 🥮: 9/10 Coffee ☕️ : 7/10 🙃the beans used top quality, just could have been a touch hotter, but that was probably down to the glass it’s served in.

Wondrous (in a 'built for Instagram' way) bakery serving pastries that routinely run out by mid morning such is the level of demand. Beautifully designed interior and really lovely team as well. The lemon drizzle brioche and coffee pecan pain au chocolat were highlights for us. Controversially the coffee wasn't exceptional - quite sour, and I can't work out whether that's because they're using Minor Figures or some other reason. Nonetheless, well worth visiting... just get there early.

Lovely space. Good pastries but not great. The laminated goods were over glazed and too hard as a result. But could have been just that day. Avoided them since. Service is not friendly and my best attempts at a big smile and cheerful interaction are not rewarded with anything. Even when no queue it’s a mediocre hello. Also strangely when I’ve sat in I’ve always been told to collect my own coffee and others get it taken to the table for them. Hmmmm
