Looking for an epic Chinese restaurant with a fully plant-based menu? 🍜 Well Ming’s Cuisine is the place for you 💚 [pr-invite] Located super close to Balham station, an extensive vegan menu and the friendliest staff, you’ve just got to visit Ming’s!! Plus they only recently launched their vegan menu so we’ve got to show the demand is there! ✨ What I had: 🥟 Dumplings in chilli oil - £8.20 ⭐️ 🥒 Smacked cucumber - £5.5 ⭐️ 🥖 Spring rolls - £5.5 🧂 Salt and pepper tofu - £8 🦆 Vegan duck - £14 🍍 Sweet and sour ‘chicken’ - £13.80 ⭐️ ✨Crispy beef - £14.8 🍚 Special fried rice - £12 🐟 Fisc with buns - £15.8 ⭐️ 🏷️: Ming’s Cusine 📍 location: Balham, London 🌱 vegan: vegan menu but also have a non-vegan menu 💵 £-£££: ££ 🥡 leftovers: yes they gave us takeaway boxes ⭐️: my faves #veganlondon #veganuk #mingscuisine #veganchinese

We celebrated a birthday here with a party of 14 people. Positives: Service was good, Food was ok, the wine was excellent! Prawn dumplings were tasty and very fresh. The servers were polite and friendly. Negatives: Drinks were slow to arrive, I had to prompt the waitress to bring the drinks over which were sitting at the bar for a while. Sizzling lamb was entertaining, but dish wasn't moreish. We felt the venue cannot cater to large groups. 2 starters for spring rolls, arrived after everyone finished their starters. The food arrived when it was ready, meaning people had to wait and watch others eating. After dinner, 4 people were still drinking wine and the rest were chatting. The waitress asked for the table back after spending £600, there wasn't a queue. We left promptly while the others stayed back to finish the wine.

A quick glance from outside, suggests an interior that wouldnt look out of place on Northcore road or Chelsea! The warm wooden walls, tables and lighting invites you in. Once in, was warmly greeted by Steven and after a couple of questions he gave me a great selection of suitable dishes to choose from. I settled on the tofu and sweetcorn soup and Singaporean noodles. Food arrived in under ten minutes. Both noodles and vegetables were cooked very well, portions size was perfect. The hot soup was hearty and tasty and quite filling. When leaving the staff said bye and smiled. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable meal and I'll definitely be back! Kudos to the person responsible for hiring 👏🏾

We had dinner in here last night. The place seemed ok at first and busy. However, service felt rushed. We noticed they welcomed other customers and gave them prawn crackers as they sat down. We didn't get any. They were more interested in getting our order as quick as possible even though we had booked. We had 2 starters of wanton soup and buffalo wings. The soup was good but the wings were very average. The sauce is on the side and not buffalo sauce. It wasn't a good pairing for the wings. The mains were good but not amazing. We had sweet and sour and noodles. The food came out very quickly, so obviously, it's not freshly made. When we were finishing our main, they stood by us to take the plates away so we didn't feel relaxed. It felt like a canteen vibe with nice furniture. A pint is 6.90 also. When paying, the waitress put the receipt on the table and handed me the terminal to add Tip. However, I did look at the receipt, and they already added service. Very sneaky and dishonest approach. Save your money and do your research. There are better asian restaurants in the...

Balham and the surrounding area have been missing a good Chinese restaurant with excellent food and now Ming’s is here, my family and I does not have to travel into Chinatown anymore. We have been a fan and regular customers of Ming’s since it has opened and the food and service have always been excellent and outstanding!

Recently during the last few months with the cold and windy weather, the door keeps opening and the poor staff are having to run to the door to try and keep it shut. The last few visits, we have had to put our jackets on whilst eating and to top it up we have to eat fast so our food dont get cold.

This review is a plea to the manager to please fix the door!!!!

The food, service and staff are all amazing but please do something about the door so we can eat in comfort without getting...
