Morley's is a franchise with a few branches in London - I thought I'd try it on the off-chance that it might be a hidden fried chicken gem; the ratings are higher than average for a chicken takeaway. First things first - it's takeaway only; no seats for eating in. It's not a very tidy or well-presented foyer (not that this bothered me much as its the chicken I'm interested in!), and it becomes apparent that Morley's is the value, rather than the luxury end of the fried chicken market - and it is good value for money, with my standard chicken fillet burger meal coming in at £5 plus change; generous portion of fries with peri spice on them, and the standard Mirinda soft drink. I also added a (very large) piece of chicken for £1.69 (see pics). Taste-wise, the burger was slightly dry, with salty batter the bun was bread rather than brioche (to be expected at the price), but at least it was toasted on the inside. The single piece of chicken was also a bit dry, with a light shade of batter - it was an average quality meal, with large portions. Think similar to Chicken Cottage. I visited at about 5pm,so it's possible that I happened to turn up when the chicken had been sitting around in the cabinet for a while. The staff were really friendly and wished me a nice evening - I always really value this, as it doesn't always happen when I buy things. Overall, if you're hungry and not expecting top end food, this will do you fine. 3.5 out of 5.

Lady was very rude and took long to give me food, not sure if she was having a bad day but she literally filled my food with peri salt until I couldn’t even eat it

The grilled chicken it looked that was only someone’s leftovers. It had to go in the bin. Look disgusting and also the meat was like breaking apart

I'm a long time Morley's Customer and a great fan of their Peri-Peri Whole Chicken. The chicken here was an absolute worst, I suspected it was probably stale. I then decided to give it a try again as it's now my local Morley's. Well, I had to bin the whole chicken and drive down to Morley's Kingston to get my usual order.

Morley's really needs to do something about this branch. It is a disgrace to the franchise.

If it was possible to subtract stars, I will because this place...

Not bad food, but there's always deliviery riders parked on the pavement all evening and a menacing group of youths that get confrontational standing outside. I can't go here anymore, it feels unsafe. Many of them have there faces covered and intentionally block the pavement. This is not a kid-friendly place!

Depraved...
