My Place Chiswick — Restaurant in London

"Look, the food's decent enough and you get a reasonable portion, but let's talk about the real issues here. Six pounds for a 250ml bottle of 0% beer? Come on. That's just taking the piss at this point. The outdoor seating area looked like a bomb had gone off - dirty plates and leftover food scattered across nearly every table from previous diners. Basic hygiene and table turnover clearly aren't priorities here. As for service? Well, that's generous calling it service at all. It's functional at best - they'll take your order and dump your food in front of you, but don't expect them to check back or actually bring you the bill without flagging them down. Yet somehow they still have the audacity to slap on a 12.5% service charge for what amounts to the bare minimum effort. The staff seem genuinely disinterested in being there. No enthusiasm, no professionalism, just going through the motions like they're doing you a favor by showing up. There's zero pride in what they're doing, and it shows in every interaction. When a business can't be bothered to clear tables, provide decent service, or price things reasonably, why should customers bother giving them their money? Chiswick has plenty of other restaurants where the staff actually care about doing their jobs properly. Save yourself the hassle and go literally...

We use to come to the previous outsider tart restaurant which closed down after covid and this place opened up so we decided to give it a try. We loved the option of having breakfast until 5pm and decided to go for an early lunch and the place did not disappoint! Maisy and Teresa were very welcoming and even helped me lift my pram up! They offered to store it in the front and grabbed us a Highchair for my daughter (so sweet and thoughtful)! My husband and I ordered the Turkish eggs and I asked for some changes to be made to that and my Iced coffee and they were happy to accommodate! Decided to try it out the new place on the block on my break, was completely and utterly tired of the usuals. Entered with little expectations, left feeling like I was on top of the world. From service to the food, everything was perfection. It’s been a long time since I indulged in such delectable food, it honestly brought a tear to my eye. The service itself was enough to make me want to come back everyday, didn’t even need the food! The owner, Toni, is a class person and an absolute joy to speak with. The young worker named Londrit was also a fine gentleman and someone who should be extremely proud of themselves for their ambitious attitude to work and life, as should the rest of the staff.
