New Ming Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in London

I've been using this restaurants service for many years, but it's fair to say that its inconsistencies still continue. I usually have the food delivered & the meals are rarely what i order. This occasion was no exception. I ordered three dishes. This time was a particular disappointment. I ordered mince pork & minced chicken "wrapped in lettiuce". I asked not to include baby sweet corn or bean shoots. The presentation was not as described. It arrived simply roughly chopped accompanied with half an iceberg lettuce in a separate bag! It was loaded with baby sweet corn & bean shoots. The next dish was Char Sui. This was accompanied with too much barbeque sauce, which could easily have come from a jar. The pork was of average quality. The third dish was beef fried noodles. I asked for the noodles to be crispy on the outside, but was all a stodgy mush with mushrooms that were discoloured & not even Chinese straw mushrooms. These mushrooms were obviously sourced from a local supermarket & near their consumption date, & of course, even more baby sweet corn & bean shoots! Living in the borough of Bexley all my life I'm still to find a repitable Chinese restaurant of the highest quality. I'm astonished to say that I have not found a Chinese restaurant in the London borough of bexley that sells crispy pork, Choi sum & straw mushrooms. It's such a shame, but the nearest authentic Chinese food is in London's Chinatown. They can do it, so why can't the other Chinese...

Used to be one of the best Chinese restaurants/takeaways around, but it's really gone downhill and now very disappointing. The pork balls are now made from cheap horrible mince instead of proper pork and the batter was soggy. The special curry was very watery and had no flavour to it. We ordered special fried noodles but were given some kind of bland rice dish which mainly consisted of vegatables in error which was also quite bland and flavourless. We'd already ordered a special fried rice dish so far too much rice!! We called them to advise of this error, they apologised and said they would credit the dish back to my account for next time, but they didn't credit this back?? Also noticed they charge a cheeky 40p service charge even for collection orders so don't understand that?? Overall very disappointing experience as wasn't cheap either for what we got!! After going there for years I very much doubt we'll use them again after this poor experience. Its wasn't even busy in there so there isn't...

One of the worst Chinese meals, me and my partner have had in a while. Firstly I ordered a chicken and black bean sauce, but instead received beef. The black bean sauce was very watered down. I think the chef added half cup of water to fill up the container. My partner ordered a special fried rice. The special fried rice looked like boiled rice with some minimal sprinkles of peas and other bits and bobs chucked in. The containers with our curries in were half full too. To top it all off when I called the restaurant to explain the problem, I was shouted at down the phone and told i was wrong. I will be going into the restaurant sometime this week to tell them some home truths. I will never use this restaurant...
