Ninety Seven Wine & Cocktail Bar — Restaurant in London

Beautiful venue, well-stocked bar, and fantastic cocktails. We held our event here and had the bar for private hire. Communication with Steve before the booking was great—he was very accommodating and flexible to our requests.

On the day, the bar was well-staffed (which is rare for a private event) and led by Harry. The entire team was clearly well-trained in both customer service and mixology. They were all incredibly welcoming to our guests, making everyone feel at ease. They even went the extra mile, helping our DJ unload, set up, and rearrange the bar to better suit our needs.

I ran a free bar and kept a close eye on it. Having done this before, I’ve often seen bars slip in extra drinks to reach the minimum spend—none of that happened here. In fact, our final bill came in under the minimum spend. When Harry informed me, I told him to simply charge the difference, but he wasn’t satisfied with that. Instead, he generously offered me a couple of bottles to take home.

Went for cocktails, the exterior and decor seem to fall short of the extraordinary creativity and flair of our bartender who made extra effort to show us A REAL METEORITE shard and a REAL DINOSAUR TOOTH. Both used in making homemade infused alcohol as part of the 45 homemade ingredients used in their cocktails. The passion and energy of the manager, detailing the drinks and ingredients while showing genuine excitement for his new ideas, made this hidden gem stand out and got us invested in the story of Ninety Seven. The drinks themselves tasted amazing, unique and presented extremely well with nothing held back while being very affordable. Nice place but was sold a 330 bottle of beer for £5 they then poured it in a half pint glass 284 threw the rest away strange they didn’t give me a glass and the bottle? Then while settling the bill they asked for a tip saying a service charge isn’t included A tip is an option ... At the price they charge they could probably pay their staff better rather than have them beg at the table.
