Elfida Restaurant — Restaurant in London

Visited with friends who had been before and really recommended it. To start with, they seemed to have some kind of football talk radio show on which wasn’t what you particularly want to hear when you are out for dinner! There was also a slight sewage smell… we mentioned it to the waiter but he said he couldn’t smell it and that was that! The waiter and waitress seemed to have very little knowledge of the menu and couldn’t seem to answer the simplest questions about the menu. In fact, when the starters came out, there was a ‘courtesy of the chef’ dish and the waiter didn’t even know what it was! Not great not to know what you’re eating regardless of whether it’s free or not! The complimentary dessert came out as did the bill, which we we hadn’t actually asked for. At no point did we get asked if we wanted more drinks, coffee etc.we eventually paid the bill when the temperature dropped and it was obvious that they wanted us to leave. It was 9pm. It might have been the waiter’s first or second night but so disappointed with the whole experience, I won’t be returning and definitely won’t recommend...

Such a wonderful place. Firstly, great food, large portion sizes which suits my husband, and I always end up taking some home for lunch. The hot mezze platter starter is gorgeous- beautiful fish. The moussaka is also really lovely and so is the lamb shish. However, even better than the great food and great wine is the customer service. They made such a fuss of our son, calling him boss, joking with him that he drew them a picture and said how kind they were. It’s a great family feel restaurant with a fantastic atmosphere and I couldn’t recommend them...

Had dinner here with my partner last night, the food was amazing and the staff was brilliant. Made sure we had everything we wanted and completely satisfied with our food and drinks. Will recommend to anyone that asks and will definitely be coming again!

I personally recommend chicken Shish or Elfida lamb shish I couldn’t be disappointed, portion sizes was more than expected you definitely get your moneys worth! And the food itself was just delicious! My partner especially likes the fresh cooked bread...
