This is not the place to go if you're expecting a meal where you can have a conversation at a normal volume. This place is LOUD.
We had a table on a Saturday evening and 'rowdy' is an understatement. Lots of tables of big parties, people shouting "get your t**s out" at each other, Sambuca shots being drunk all over the place, and the staff look on in amusement rather than point out they're not the only people in the restaurant, and y'know, maybe they should chill out a bit.
The food was mediocre (as many others have mentioned) - ordered the "fillet" steak special, which was actually just a rump steak with a tonne of blue cheese over the top. My wife ordered the ravioli pasta main, which was topped with a sweet (yes, sweet) tomato sauce. Weirdest thing ever to taste. We had a couple of beers and no desserts or wine, and the bill still came to £85, including a mickey-taking £2 for bread that was on the table when we arrived. Pretty pricey.
Feel stupid for not realising how bad this place would be when they said they only do 6:30pm and 9pm tables (when we got there they mentioned that the music STARTS at midnight!).
It's a shame as the staff are all very friendly, but take your money elsewhere unless you want to get fed some expensive mediocre food, whilst you get absolutely hammered on shots, with some random woman shouting at you to take your clothes off. Maybe that's your bag, but it ain't mine, especially not...

The food here is nothing short of sublime. Every dish is crafted to perfection, bursting with flavor and presented beautifully. Whether it's a special occasion or just a night out, the menu offers a variety of delectable options that never disappoint.
What sets Ninos apart is the genuine warmth and hospitality of the staff. They go above and beyond to create a comfortable and inviting environment, making every guest feel special. It's rare to find a place where both the food and the service are exceptional, but Ninos consistently achieves this balance.
If you're looking for a guaranteed wonderful time and a chance to enjoy quality food in a delightful setting, I highly recommend Ninos. It's a gem of a restaurant that never fails to impress, and I always leave with a smile on my face and plans to...
Read moreFirstly the food was excellent however, the restaurant automatically charges a 12.5% service charge. With Karen mode engaged, I must say this is a massive shame as dining at the restaurant, including the not so cheap imbibing of beverages should be enough of a monetary reward. I fully understand this seems to be a trend these days but it really doesn't take into account people's circumstances (what's to say someone hasn't saved up for a meal as a once a month or indeed yearly treat). I also understand that such a charge can be challenged however, patrons shouldn't have to do this in a public arena and made to feel awkward and that they are being difficult. A service charge or "tip" should be based on subjective circumstances and of course the subjective experience of the patron at the restaurant: this isn't the USA and if staff are relying on the service charge to top up their wages then this is worrying in the extreme.
So just to confirm, fantastic food but the service charge clearly is an issue...
