I used to love this lounge in the past. Actually, it was one of my favourites in the whole world. Unfortunately things changed a lot there. I tried to access the lounge for more than 3 times within last year and every time I was refused due to the fact I did not have a reservation (which costs additional money, if you did not know,. Like come on, I already pay a lot of money for the lounge access and I did not even mean to stay in the airport all the times. I was dealing with a fact that my flight was just extremely delayed or over-routed, so it was not planned at all at the beginning). I understand that Heathrow is a busy airport, however, the entrance administrators were totally impolite. Right a second before I had to enter the lounge (also, I am an owner of a several lounge memberships, for which I pay quite a lot of money and for that i expect at least a little bit of service), the administrator screamed on the another worker "No cards anymore, refuse everyone from now" RIGHT in front of my face, after waiting for almost 30 minutes of waiting to enter the lounge. I find it extremely unprofessional and haughty. When I asked, why it keeps going on and a person just cannot enter the lounge again again and again, i was told, it is basically my problem. The other times the administrator was also extremely unfriendly and was turning away in extremely impolite way not only me, but also other guests. If the problem was only the capacity, it would be at least partially understandable, if the administration at least was apologising for the inconveniences. However the only treatment you get is a super impolite refusal. It is really sad, because I used to love this place, but now? I don't even want to go around it, just not so see a grumpy administrator face, who looks at you with powerful arrogant face and tells you to enjoy your time in the other area of...
Read moreThe No.1 lounge is based is also known as Lounge F in Heathrow's Terminal 3.
Entrance efficiency Good entrance and leather flat seats can be found to the right allowing for passengers with children to sit down whilst checking-in to the lounge. I can imagine that during busy periods the lounge can get quite busy but there is the ability for 2 staff members to check people in if this happens.
Cleanliness Top marks for this. All areas of this lounge exceeded expectations for cleanliness. Plates/utensils/cutlery were also well maintained and clean.
Toilets There are 3 male and 3 female toilets and 1 wheelchair accessible toilet. Each toilet is a small room in itself allowing for great privacy. Toilets were well maintained and clean upon entry. There was a high-end L'Occitane lotion which was an unexpected nice touch. No hand towels were in any of the toilet 'rooms' so half star lost on this. Big shame to otherwise a flawless experience.
Food and Beverages Beverages are self service and there is a bar. There is a food menu offered depending on the time of day. You need to await the waitress/waiter in order to find out what's on the menu. Half a star lost here as I would prefer a QR code at each seating area that tells you the formality of ordering. My family and I were sat there wondering how we order and whilst the waitresses and waiters were doing a good job, things would be faster if there was a QR code that pointed to a webpage with the menu and then instructed folks to wait to make their order at their tables. The food itself was presented well - nothing to write home about in terms of quality and would rate it as normal lounge food but not like a premium lounge in terms of freshness (e.g. the pain-au-chocolates were obviously straight out of a packet).

Read moreFirst impressions (the decor and the welcome) were good but overall I found the "experience" disappointing. I was booked in business class with Rwandair, granting me complimentary access.
I was really looking forward to making use of the facilities (especially after long waits in duty-free etc) so rather unimpressed by the lacklustre bar service. I ordered a large G & T but was given a single shot. Had to ask for the lemon. We could have been in any old fast food joint: the young men behind the ball were more interested in having a laugh with each other than being attentive to customers. (Stand in the wrong place, and you are blanked, without any explanation). I guess it must get tiring to see endless new faces day, in day out...
The food provided was okay. I enjoyed the houmous and fresh cut vegetables. The chickpea curry was quite tasty but not hot enough. The best item was the thick slices of strong Cheddar 🧀
I like the range of seating. Some of the small lounges were rather bling bling... But the toilets. Omg. I saw someone replenish the bathrooms with toilet paper but she clearly didn't do any cleaning. All bins were overflowing. It was horrible. Thank God I didn't pay for this because I would have felt ripped off. As it is, I will share feedback with Rwandair and suggest that they use different lounges at Heathrow in the...
