Hello Travelers and Foodies!! Especially if you are in London and near to Westminster station, excited to see Big Ben area and then you get Hungry and looking for the best+++ option then here you go.... My wife and i was in London last month, while enjoying the beautiful view of Big ben Area, we did not realize how much hungry and tired we were. While looking for restaurant we accidentally stopped in Old Queen street Cafe. We were so tired that we had no patience to wait outside the restaurant and wait until 12 pm, as they start the lunch by noon. As we were there 20 minutes before. Thanks to the front door assistance, she allowed us to sit in and said you can order drink and will get your order ASAP. We had nice fresh juice and waited about 10 minutes, one of the staff member was very kind as they took our order 10 minutes before and said " Anyways it will take somewhere 10 to 20 minutes to prepare your order, so i will go ahed submit your order" Oh wow, I was very impressed with this hospitality and we immediately place our order. It did not take as long. This was about hospitality and their genuine gesture which makes us very welcoming. Which is important when you visit the new country. Okay Lets talk talk about food. We ordered Chicken Schnitzel, fries and Fish and Chips. Food certainly deserve 10/10. Amazing food quality as you realize when you eat. Cooking style was amazing!!! Indeed, Why? Because texture, temperature, thickness of chicken and fish was exactly as expected, we are not kitchen expert but it makes your soul satisfied and hit the right spot. Green immunity Booster and Sunshine Juice is Amazing. Experience is really amazing and entire time we spent their makes us feel that even we came to this restaurant without planning, it was a great decision. Every time my wife and I talk about next London visit, We always talk about Old Queen Street Cafe. Staff, Chef and Management of this cafe is really...

All day Brasserie for light lunch or formal dinners.

Decor: Newly designed with classic regal decor and comfy furnishings. Ambience was relaxing, with good choice of lighting and music. If coming for dinner, you must dress up to fit in with the beautiful decor.

Food: Dishes are arranged very aesthetically pleasing, portion sizes are small and light so definitely worth having 2 or 3 courses to fill up properly. Price is medium to high. For example, our 3 course meal for 2 people with 2 drinks each and no dessert totalled almost £100.

Otherwise, great lunch options from hot classic meals to lighter sandwiches - perfect if you're in a rush. All meals we had were full of flavour - kudos to the chef team.

Allergies: No vegan dishes and no vegan desserts. Not able to modify dishes with alternative allergy free ingredients.

Service: Very attentive and warm service from all the staff, someone came by regularly to make sure we were ok or needed extra drinks.

Overall, lovely spot for work meetings or dinner with friends.

☆ Service: 4/5 ☆ Food: 3/5 ☆ Hygiene: 4/5 ☆ Ambience:...

Well what a place this really is. Huge shout out to Charlie and Julian, this was not a straightforward meal and frankly the person I was with complained about the steak 🥩 even though they ate it all. Apparently it “just didn’t sing”. I didn’t try it but they ate it all so… Yeah Moving on, the starters were great. There was cod’s roe as a snack which I wasn’t going to let pass me by. I had a matcha to drink which was great and two carb free courses. Charlie was one of the best waiters I have ever been served by and so was Julian and I never say that. Julian made me a special drink - earl grey and tonic. It was really brilliant- thank you. Genius. I had the cauliflower main and again it was great, different but something I would replicate at home. Those kinda recipes are hard to come by. The cocktail menu was the most exciting I’ve seen for a very long time and back then, it definitely wasn’t as exciting as this. Hopefully you’ll go here and all being well I’ll catch you coz imma take everyone I know here. That’s not even a joke. Thank you Old Queen Street Cafe - I’ll...

Ordered starter and main course. Starter: Seared Scallop The scallop smell and taste good but the texture is a little bit chewy, it was slightly overcooked to me. The condiment to go with the scallop which are apples, celeriac, bacon and balsamic vinegar does pair well with the dish. Main course: Games Pot Pie The crust was crispy, is not bad but nothing special. The taste, texture and fragrance is there still worth a try. Service: I get a feeling that they would not like to serve foreigners. The attitude treating the locals and foreigners are different. I can feel that the service team look down on us as they think that foreigners dont speak good English or so. But still there was a waiter who served me apologised to me as his English is not that good too.😐 And the hostess after the door doesnt like smiling maybe she had a bad day.
