Paddy Cakes — Restaurant in London

Unbelievably delicious. The cookies are out of this world - try the batman, and the chocolate chip, if you’re lucky enough to get a chance. Wow, just wow. The mini pizzas - I mean, obviously pizza is always going to be delicious but these are heavenly... more than you’d imagine was possible. And, oh my the cinnamon rolls are the best you will EVER have (I’m drooling just remembering them). Everything looks great, but the taste is just sublime. I’m quite fussy, and I have bought from bakeries all over London / U.K., and I admit, I tend to let my expectations run away with me and I nearly always get a little disappointed but not at Paddy Cakes. Without fail every item here will supersede your expectations. The ingredients are really high quality, and the bakers are top tier. Definitely a hidden spot to know about but be warned: you’ll be ruined afterwards as your experiences elsewhere will pale in comparison. If you can handle that, then bring your stretchy trousers and get ready. Paddy is also a complete joy!! Really lovely, and clearly has immense passion and dedication to his craft, the way he talks about each product is with such care and knowledge.

I kind of don’t want to post this and for it to turn into somewhere you have to queue for hours at 8am and it runs out at 8.15, but I’d feel too selfish not to...

As cheesy as it might sound, I truly think this is the best bakery I have ever been in London. For once, forget about the new Instagram sensation, the bakery of moment, the last London hype and open yourself to the pleasure of the unknown. Impossible to even imagine what these guys may come up with this week. Definitively not the same as last week and 100% delicious, every single time. I lost count of the times I was literally shocked by the combination of flavours, the variety of products and the beauty of their pastries and their savoury treats. You can clearly feel the deep love for food that drove these guys up to the very top of my favourite places in London. Do yourself an immense favour and give it a go. You won't be disappointed. We absolutely love Paddy Cakes. We have purchased from their bakery for years and are always delighted by the variety and fun things that Pat and Chrys bake.
