Just an experience.
We were being charged GBP 195 for 3 people for how to make bubble tea course.
The shop owner asked us for personal or business use. We replied we want to just learn how to make a perfect cup of bubble tea. We do not have any plan yet to open a business but we may think in future, therefore we want to do personal class as of now.
In the class we were not taught how to brew the tea during the the whole time. The owner assumed everyone in the world knows it by birth and those who doesn't know are inexperienced cook. The entire process of tea brewing that includes measurements and practical experience was totally missing in the course. The funniest is: this course is entirely tea based, whose name contains the word 'Tea' and the entire tea process is missing. We kept asking about tea brewing during the class and shop owner replied us there is no need to teach that as we should already know it, everyone knows it.
(In the reply of this review, shop owner claimed he told us how to brew this but unfortunately, its not true.)
Further to this, the owner didn't share the measurements of ingrediants for making a perfect bubble tea cup, e.g. how much ml fructose is generally required in how much ml of bubble tea. saying there is never any calculation in bubble tea. Wondering how people can maintain consistency in taste with estimates. The owner didn't even shared the equipments names used to make bubble tea like shaker, mixer, scoop, jjgger or net for the making of a bubble tea cup.
Whatever we asked anything about personal bubble tea making, they named it a business question and offered the reply in 5 days extended business course.
People paid to know, how to make a bubble tea cup and it should be done completely and with due diligence. It should not concern you if its for personal or professional use because you are paid to teach. Why classify a cup of bubble tea making as personal or professional. A bubble tea cup is a bubble tea cup.
I proposed the shop owner for joining the further 5 days business course with my partner but changed my mind, based on the personal...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of working with Hanna, a Thermomix representative, and I can confidently say that she is one of the best human beings I've ever met. She is incredibly nice, efficient, and helpful - the kind of person who truly goes above and beyond to make sure her customers are happy.
Not only did she answer all of my questions about the Thermomix, but she also took the time to show me all of its amazing features and how to use it properly. Her knowledge and expertise were truly impressive and I felt confident using my new appliance right away.
But what really stood out to me was her kind and caring nature. She made me feel like more than just a customer - she treated me like a friend. She even followed up with me after my purchase to make sure I was happy with everything and to see if I had any other questions or concerns.
Overall, I can't recommend Hanna enough. If you're in the market for a Thermomix, you won't find a better representative than her. Thank you Hanna for all of your help and for being such a...
Read moreWhat an incredibly strange encounter. I was after some white vinegar and when I walked up to the door saw the sign about IDs, I thought well I will just ask them if they have it and then can get my ID out if they do so I can go in. I rang the door bell and the man walked up, as I smiled at him he just looked at me blankly, then with anger, threw his hands into the air, vaguely pointed at the sign and walked off, not even giving me a chance to get my ID out. I tried to get the attention of the lady working there to see if she would come and check my ID and let me in however she didn't come to the door. I can understand that maybe bad experiences have led to them wanting to instate this policy which is fine and is their choice, but that doesn't make that sort of behaviour appropriate or necessary. Maybe treating new customers with a little more kindness and respect might be a good idea if you want their custom. Not a nice...
