He said it is his ideal home and he would like to share with people. Now near 20 years passed, many changes happened in this area, but this coffee shop still stay the same, like old friends. Another hidden gem in Tufnell Park for you. Coffee Shops Each Tube Station For Digital Nomads 7th Stop: Northern Line-Tufnell Park Rustique Coffee Category: Independent Cafe (a literary cafe) WIFI: Reliable and free to use (need a code) Download 19.6Mbps Upload 10.6Mbps PING 9 JITTER 19 Seating: There are about 30 seats with small tables, bistros, and vintage leather sofas in the front space and several seats in the garden. Although the space is small, you still could find a seat even in the lunch time. Charging Spots: Yes Bathroom: One for Unisex Ambience: Homely, peaceful, and warm. As the owner said to me, this coffee shop is his ideal home, good tea and coffee, fresh homemade food, warm wall color, lots of books, a garden where people could just sit in to enjoy the peace or be in a daze calmly. Staff Friendliness: Very welcoming, friendly, and smiley. Cost: Coffee £1.7-£3.95 Tea £1.95-£3.55 Cakes £3.20-£4.65 (The whole cake is £40!) Food £4.95-£9.8 Something Special About the Cafe: The vibe is comfy and laid-back, as well as a little quirky, but the owners and the staff are really nice to customers; It is a good place to stay longer, even though you just order a coffee, they will not mind; Problems: The coffee is good, but food and cakes are average and overpriced for what you get.

This cozy literary cafe is one of my favourite places so far! :) The atmosphere is friendly and serene, while the nice classical music in background helps you relax while reading a book, studying, working with your laptop, or simply enjoying a moment with a friend. Many paintings to support local artists are exposed on the walls, while the shelves are full of books from a local bookshop. The food is also tasty and nice, and it is both possible to have lunch/dinner with their freshly prepared meals, or simply enjoy a cup of coffee or tea while tasting a cookie or a piece of cake. I really appreciate this place, its welcoming owner and its lovely atmosphere, and I would recommend it no doubts.

A very cozy and homely café, that seems to be well attended by repeat customers and the local community. The menu is relatively expansive with plenty of paninis and brunches, as well as fruit bowls. The drink offer is pretty boilerplate, which is not a bad thing, not all places need to go crazy in that department. I ordered the fruit and yoghurt bowl and despite it being quite nice, I found it a bit small and lackluster for its price tag. There are plenty of amenities such as books that you can buy and it boasts a gorgeous front window from ceiling to floor.

This is a wonderful place with a nice atmosphere. Bekim, who runs it, is a really nice guy and tries very hard to make the place welcoming and pleasant. The garden at the back is also a great place to have breakfast and just sit with a coffee and read a book (on those rare occasions when the London weather allows it).

We've been going there for years and will continue to do so, and it's also a good place to work if you are one of legions of freelancer/creatives/home workers who inhabit North London - totally relaxed about you spending hours there just ordering the occasional tea or coffee.

I also like that they have a board with loads of local events...

The only reason it doesn't get the full 5 stars is that the food is not that amazing and a little expensive for what it is. Well, not expensive at all by London standards, but not quite cheap enough to make it...

When I first came across this place I was wowed by it's lovely looking dimly lit atmosphere in the autumn evening with people inside working on their laptops, reading a book or chatting, I ordered a large hot chocolate, it arrived extremely hot and was described by the café owner as the best hot chocolate that I'm ever going to taste and that it's imported from Italy, the beverage is the worsed hot chocolate I've ever tasted, I've come to the conclusion that this man lives in a world of make believe and that he buys this horrible stuff from a cash and carry and it's one of those cheap brands, apart from that it's well overpriced, I've tried it everytime I've been there (three x) and it's always the same, I no longer like the atmosphere either, it's shabby but certainly not chic, I've decided that I won't be spending time in...
