Pepe's — Restaurant in London

I have been visiting this Pepe's branch since it first opened, and I have never once been dissatisfied with anything. Every visit has been a delight, thanks to the consistently high-quality food and service. However, my recent experience truly stood out because of Divya's exceptional customer service.

From the moment I walked in, Divya greeted me with a warm smile and a friendly attitude, making me feel instantly welcome. She went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was perfect. I ordered from Pepe’s last night at 19.10pm they kept changing the time and all it said was preparing, I took screen shots through out the time I was waiting, I waited for so long and all it said was courier was waiting to pick up my food which in the end never happened, it went past 9pm so I reported it to just eat as the food never arrived, they delivered other people food but mine never came!! Then the store lied and said it had been delivered at 19.45 which is impossible as I took screen shots of the status just before 9pm saying it was still being prepared! They took my money, lied and never delivered my food it’s an absolute joke, they messed up my last order so I was hesitant to order form there again but I gave it a few months and through my id try it again, big mistake and lesson learned will never order from here again, the Pepe’s in Greenwich is so much better and staff actually care about the food they’re sending out and their customers, unless you go into the shop or you get lucky you won’t get your food and they’ll lie about delivering it to you. Ordered a delivery and the chicken was dried out and burnt, like acrid, not the nice tasting charcoal flavour, the rice was soggy and also tasted burnt because of the chicken which is really weird as the food here is normally great! Chips were cold too, so the only part I could eat was the fudge cake which they didn’t make! I could not get a refund from just eat or the store so wasted nearly £20 worth of food and when you’ve working all day the last thing you want is inedible food. I decided to try again two more times and both occasions my food was either cold or tasted powdery or overcooked. Customer service at just eat is appalling they never refund you even if you have proof. I noticed when they get busy the cooking slips. Best to collect your food but honestly delivery is a no.
