Pizza Go Go Kingston — Restaurant in London

I’ve frequently visited and had delivered pizza from this venue for years.

I have found the staff professional and proactive in delivering the pizza I’ve ordered on time.

When I look at the kitchen, it provides me with reassurance that there will not be any hygiene issues as other restaurants that look worse for wear. Which is why I have no problem with them delivering to me.

The pizza itself is clear cut, tidy and tasty. When I observe the layout. After all these years I appear to get the same distinct look of their pizza with every order. I do not ever see a mistake or any cheese or topping out of place. So they are very consistent.

My preferential view is they are the best when it comes to the cheese and tomato order in the local area. This is complimented well with fresh tomato, mushrooms and their hotdog. Although for me I would like it if their other toppings had a bit more flavour and spice.

Their side orders like wedges are nice and you get plenty in the box. Far more than other pizza places in the area. The curly fries say they use seasonal coating, but I would like for them to have a more peri peri kick.

Nonetheless, it’s my go to pizza place at the moment. And I have no problem recommending this...

My whole flat was woken up at 11pm on a Sunday night to a hammering on my front door. I answered to be shouted at by one of the Pizza GoGo drivers saying I owed money for pizza. I told him he had the wrong door and to please stop shouting. He didn't so I closed the door and rang the branch up. They told me the same thing, that I owe them money. My father-in-law was staying who has dementia and alzheimer's, so it freaked him out bad. The next day I went and spoke to the manager who said that they had got their wires crossed - a neighbour close by had got drunk and didn't have any cash for his pizza, the driver had gone back to get the card machine and when he returned the dude had disappeared with the pizza. They thought he lived in my flat, and when I answered he thought it was me. There was not a single apology, just a shrug from the manager who said it was just one of those things. Awesome. An apology would have made me see the funny side. Instead you've earned yourselves a big fat 1* review. YES! Sticking it to the man! Absolute bunch of tubes. Pizza GoGo, just Gogo & get...

I used to be a regular customer of Pizza GoGo but we were trying to improve our diets so gave it a rest for a while. However, we had it this evening as a treat for the kids and were really disappointed.

I’d ordered 2 large pizzas and sides as part of the care package. First, the food took almost an hour to get here even though we ordered at 5:50 so not really busy O’clock!!

Then, the 2 pizzas were just flavourless. From the dry and dense bread bases, to the lack of any real sauce (burger and garlic pizzas were indistinguishable) to the fairly lacking toppings. It was like eating damp cardboard!

Lastly, the chicken strip sides were dry and burnt, almost as if they had been reheated (several times??) versus cooked fresh.

Something has changed in the Pizza GoGo stables and pretty sure it’s not for the better. Either that, or I had old dough and ingredients and their ‘normal’ offering is significantly better.

Experiences like this do make you reach out and try new providers though and I see that as a good opportunity to find something better for the future!
