10/10 for the pizza (if hot). 1/10 for customer service. 3/10 for apologies for poor customer service
Chance of getting what you ordered, without incident, accident or confusion, about 50/50.
I’ve been patient long enough with this place. Last night was typical though. Ordered three meals, one pizza, two pasta. When the order was ready I got one pizza, one pasta, one refund for the other pasta dish because they ran out. No apology.
I explained that I can’t go home with two meals for three people. So I (foolishly) ordered a different pasta dish and waited while the staff merrily laughed and joked around me while my pizza and other pasta dish got cold.
I’d like to say this is out of the ordinary, but it isn’t. We tried ordering online, but it’s no better. Either perfect and delivered in 15 minutes, or and hour late and cold/wrong/missing parts.
Great pizza on a good day isn’t enough to run a business in London. Up your game or just give up this pizza...
Read moreWhile I do always find it slightly upsetting when eateries charge extra for food that fulfils dietary requirements (+£1.50 for gluten-free base), it was nice to find a local non-chain pizza place serving gluten-free pizza. The pizza itself - we chose a Burrata - was great, excellent chewy base, tasty tomato sauce and a (very) big helping of fresh rocket with a whole burrata mozzarella in the centre, soft, creamy and delicious. Also nice that the pizza was a normal size, not half the size of a standard issue as is often the case with gluten-free options. We shared one between two and felt we'd had a good meal. Staff were friendly too despite the fact that we were probably the last customers...
Read moreThe Pizza is generally fine, but the gluten free is the pull here. As a resent recruit to the wheat free army (not my choice) I am impressed with the quality. However, to get the most out of it, I would suggest placing a slice on a very hot frying pan at home to add some crispness to the base. The standard pizza suffers from too much tomato for my taste.
The layout is bizarre inside, but has a Lewisham Way charm about it, the colours are mad. Bright red everywhere. Always nice staff, but some work...
