I recently attended Sharon's Swing Out workshop, which was an amazing learning experience. Once I'd got past the initial self conscious part of having my existing swing out efforts filmed for prosperity :D The workshop was very logically structured, starting with the beginning of the swing out and highlighting the finer technical points, literally at each step of the swing out process. Everything was clearly explained, with the reasoning behind each point, which for me helped re-enforce what I should be doing. Sharon took the time to identify the aspects of the swing out that each person was weaker on, to target the workshop to the attendees, rather than just going through a set list of technical points. My husband and I found Sharon when looking to perform a Lindy Hop dance for our wedding day. Sharon is amazing. If you're thinking about engaging her don't think twice and just come to try! We were beginners and managed to get a perfect dance choreographed in a few sessions with Sharon. JazzMAD took my dancing to a whole new level. I just completed a 12-week beginners course, where I learned both the leader AND follower roles. It is making me a MUCH better dancer.
