My Mum and I stopped here to get out the rain on our way to the Robbie Williams concert. The waiter sat us next to a lovely group of ladies. Due to the rain it was hard to seat people under the cover, anyways we shared a pizza and 1 gin tonic and cola which came to £30.12. I think £14 something for the pizza but the final price a little steep due to service charge. Because later prosecco was £9 but when my friends ordered x4 prosecco the total was £8 extra due to service charge. I don’t rate the customer service highly as when querying the cost of the service charge the manager told us to stop complaining. This was after he served one of the prosecco bottles already opened with half in it! This was understandably sent back as unacceptable, much to his disgust! He wasn’t keen to keep serving us as he seemed to think he could make more money from seating other customers despite there being a non existent queue of incoming customers. Little did he know we would have been willing to keep on ordering if the service was better. Overall it was lovely sitting next to these ladies and the pizza was enjoyable and the other staff were trying their best just disappointing service from the...
Read moreJust off of the Holloway Road and down the street from Arsenal's stadium, is a relatively undiscovered Italian restaurant serving incredible food at a crazy low price. Cooked fresh, right in front of you, they're perfect for breakfast, lunch, dinner and any other excuse you can think of to nip in for a bite to eat. The owner, head chef and waiter are all rolled into one lovely old Italian fella, cooking anything off the hand written menu and anything else you could think to throw his way. There's a really authentic family feel as his son sits in the corner on his grandmothers knee, battered roller skates on, folding napkins like a pro. Supporting local business has never tasted so good. Can not rate this place highly enough and think you'd be mad to even consider one of the overpriced chains on the...
Read moreExtremely rude chef/owner. We went in with my family for a pizza, but he killed our appetite when he surprised us with a good scolding unprovoked, seeming confused about whether we wanted to place an order or not yet we had just placed it with him in person a few minutes ago and were waiting for him to serve it to us.
He will literally take out his language barrier issues on you. There was no way we were going to continue sitting down and enjoy his pizza after his outburst. We left confused about what he was going on and on about, wondering if he's struggling with some form of dementia or just...
