Rooster’s Piri Piri Woolwich — Restaurant in London

Stopped by this peri peri chicken spot for a meal, and overall it was a good experience! The shop itself had a decent interior, though it was a bit tricky to find because of all the ongoing construction in the area.

The server was welcoming and happy to assist. I ordered the 1/2 peri peri chicken meal, the chicken itself was well-cooked and very juicy. The only downside was that the peri peri sauce was a bit too zingy for my taste and overpowered the flavor a bit. That said, it was still a nice, fresh and healthy meal.

One minor inconvenience was that the card machine wasn’t working, but fortunately, I had cash on me! Next time, I’ll probably try something else on the menu with a little less zing, but I’m definitely planning to return and explore more of...

Excellent food mostly chicken!!! fantastic alternative to nandos they cook grilled chicken, quarter half and full chicken available, they have various flavours, Lebanese flavour, garlic and herb, Mexican, Barbecue and Piri Piri to name just a few you can also choose extra hot chicken also if your brave!!, in addition they sell potato wedges and can have a special Piri Piri coating added to the wedges which make the wedges taste fantastic, they also sell various chicken gourmet burgers that taste devine, they sell deserts and fresh fruit juices also that can be made using the fruits while wait! Went there with business friends and were welcomed like family! The restaurant has shiny new tables and a fresh, clean look. I ordered a chicken wrap, which came with a generous portion of potato rings, big in size and full of flavour. The milkshakes were delicious, and I absolutely loved the Piri Piri sauce.

The location is fantastic, right in the centre of Woolwich, with free 3-hour parking at Tesco nearby, plenty of bus routes and stops, and three train stations within a short walking distance.
