Went here for the first time since 18 months ago and it was a totally different place .it may have had a 're-furb' but it needs much more than that! There was zero atmosphere , about 20 people tops , not even a single person on the dancefloor, aggressive intimidating bar girl towards a customer , manager also shouting her mouth at a customer all just unnecessary.(Clearly have some personal issues) and extremely unprofessional! In serious need of some anger management and good customer service skills. Ive Never seen anything like it in my life in the space of 2 hours. I also witnessed 2 young women being thrown out on 2 separate occasions (just for being drunk and having a good time ) . One of them with so much force she banged her head off the kirb outside ! These staff are dealing with people in vulnerable states and it's disgraceful. Save yourself the shocking £10 entry and your safety and go into central! I will never ever step foot in...
Read moreI have been coming to the Chatham for many years and during the day there has never been a problem however in the evening is a different story. I am 43 years of age and do not drink much however for the second time now I have been refused entry by the security on the door. Again they said I was too drunk because they watch me walking and stated I couldn't walk straight Firstly I am partially sighted I can only see some out of my right eye, the left one droops. This was an injury that means I have problems with my balance and coordination. The security on the thought it was ok to discriminate against my disability. When I tried to record what they were saying I was told to stop or he would take and smash my phone. I have never been treated in such a discriminated way ... I let this behaviour go before but not this time. I will be contacting those responsible and anyone else that supports this kind of...
Read moreDrove 6 miles to get here on a Friday night as my friend saw karaoke advertised. Confronted by 3 bouncers asking for ID. Was told this is not an age thing ( both of us obviously well over the age of 25) but ID needed to be scanned for the licence. When asked why and was there a problem in the area I was told very curtly that he "had already told me that it was not an age thing" and that he "didn't know as only worked for the pub". Felt very unwelcoming and rude so left. I understand asking for underage drinkers, but first time in my life I have been asked ID just to go into a local pub. Also what is their Data Protection policy? What are they doing with your data if they are taking scans of your ID. Surely this is a breach of GDPR? Certainly will not be...
