Marks & Spencer Food — Local services in London

I have been bullied by a security staff today. A new security man kept threatening me when I was leaving the store, the door starting beeping due to their system fault, no apology by the faulty system and I was harassed by the security person.

Today 23th March around 1;15pm at the woolwich store 2 Plumstead Rd, London SE18 7BZ. I paid for my shop and want to leave the store, the entry door started beeping so I stopped. a security man came to me asking for my receipt, he treated me with no respect, I said no I don't not ask for recipe, he then requested me to show receipt on my mobile phone I said I have also don't have receipt on my mobile. he said me I must have receipt in hand or receipt on my phone in the way that threatened me and humiliated me in public at the door,

he then asked me to go back to the self service machine to check my transactions which showed I paid for my shopping, he still very passive aggressively kept telling me I must take receipt or I must have an app on my phone, I felt harassed and humiliated by his aggressive behaviours.

I asked the store manager about making a complaint , she said other customers also made complaint about this person but she doesn't know this security person's name and his manager's name. I was told to call the store...

I love this M&S and go in every day for a Danish, the sweet bakery is Amazing. But today was so different and has put a black cloud over my future visits to the store, I bought a plant, a Danish, a Box of chocolates and chocolate eggs. I scanned and paid for everything, obviously, but as I was leaving security stopped me, they said I had not paid for my plant. They got the receipt and I proved I had paid for it. The way the security guard treated me with utter contempt. I cried leaving the store and driving home. He was in the wrong and never apologised. It was so upsetting, I felt like a criminal, I felt bullied and for what reason had they stopped me?! I am just a normal middle aged woman going about minding my own business and next minute I am...

Quaint shop has a brilliant staff who are very friendly - has everything you need from around a corner store for your day to day needs

The bakers Grace & Patrick are both brilliant. Both have great energy always chirpy and smiling and talking to the customers. They were the defining factor for us to come to Marks in Woolwich rather than any other store

For the months the bakery was being upgraded - the whole place was different - it is not the ingredients that make you go to a store , it is the people in it who make you go there.
