Ordered on 18th April 2024 -Delivery Firstly Chilli Paneer had gone off. Should just leave it at at that!

Used their internal delivery system via website. It is supposed to be delivered between 7 -745. Got it after 8. Ordered the following: Chilli Paneer, Crispy Bindhi, Vegetable something, Chicken momo, garlic mogo and 2 naans. Everything else was ok apart from the Paneer and Bindhi. But how do you come back from gone off food? Not an opinion a FACT. You know when something is off. Bindhi was soggy and full of oil. Other food was good, but lost appetite after that.

Phoned them. Suprise suprise, no manager! Denied my claim saying their standards are high. Told them if I should bring the food down for them to taste. The staff was useless and unprofessional, with no Customer service at all. Complete denial. To rub salt in the wound, told me because I ordered the dish and asked to make it less Spicy, this is why it tasted like that. She asked me what I wanted, which was to have my Money back. I didn't spend £50 with 4.50 for delivery to be delivered late, soggy and a dish that had gone off!

Unprofessionally, she didn't even put the phone on hold, and started to talk to someone else in the background, without even apologising. She then told me that for the gone off Paneer and the Bindhi i will get a refund but nothing else. The cheek! Full refund and an apoolgy for an all round negative experience, should have been offered as a minimum.

Seriously be careful what you buy at this place. Will definitely be taking this further. Shocking from this...

Used to be a regular here when it was under different management. After my last few experiences I will certainly never be returning until management changes again.

The food has gone down the drain. The quality is poor and effort even worse. They served me and my family a mixed grill on a standard white plate (as opposed to a traditional sizzling mixed grill).

The customer service is appalling. The waiting staff will patrol around your table like security and interrupt every single conversation, to pick up any little dish/glass at the table which has just been finished.

Despite having such free time to patrol, they're incredibly inattentive. They do not bring sauces/extra cutlery/drinks as and when you've asked (or often at all).

Management is arrogant and unwelcoming and certainly do not have any rapport with returning, loyal customers.

They play loud music at the same time as having TV volume turned up so the atmosphere is confused and noisy.

Not a good place to go for either the food, customer service or the drinks which are over priced for a local bar/restaurant.

Strongly...

Received the worst customer service I ever experienced today at this place, spent over £100. Firstly staff member hina who claims she owns the place(she is only a waiter nothing more)she is a bully, she trys to force you to pay the service charge, when by law in the UK its not mandatory to pay and actualy optional) she refused to remove it off the bill and was extremely rude. She got in a puff and acted like a little child it was really embarrassing to watch. the actual manger/owner then removed the service charge, at this point hina was red in the face. Also staff members are quick to rush you out , after ordering starters they snatch the menus, take plates away whilst you are eating, there was only 1 amazing man(did not get his name) but he was extremely helpful and polite. This place is hugely disappointing, food is awful and it's actually a Nepalese restaurant not proper indian food. Overly priced and disgusting behaviour from staff(hina) she needs the sack. Also witness her using her bullying tactics to a elderly couple. Management need to seriously have a word with her. Mabye...

Absolutely dismal. Aweful customer service, medioca food. After being seated, we ordered drinks, shortly followed by starters. Durimg starters I had to call the waitress to order more drinks. During the 45 mihutes that the starters were on our table, not once did anyone come to ask how the food was or if we needed anything else. Kebabs were cold. Chicken tikka had a raw bit of meat Mogo was excellent I walked over to the bar and asked for waitress to place an order for mains. The butter chicken was categorically not butter chicken. It was more a curry, balti. Again, no one bothered to come check on us. When the bill came, I asked for the service charge to he removed, on account of the fact that we had little to no service. Such a shame. This used to be the best place to eat in Rayners Lane. Now it feels like a place to get tanked up and forget your taste buds.

I ordered the chilli chicken from Ruby's restaurant, and I was shocked by what I received. I paid £11 for a portion that was barely half of what you'd expect for that price. The quantity was incredibly disappointing — nowhere near justifiable for what I paid. To make matters worse, when I tried to contact the restaurant about it, they were completely unresponsive and dismissive. Instead of offering any kind of apology or resolution, they were rude and unhelpful. It felt like they were just trying to take advantage of customers who don’t have many options. This kind of treatment is unacceptable, and no customer should have to deal with such poor service and value. I strongly advise others to stay away from Ruby's — they clearly don’t care about quality or customer satisfaction.

This is a must try. It is definitely one of the better Indian restaurants in north west london and you can see how many I have been too! I forgot to take a picture of all the food but you can see the crispy bhindi, chilli paneer, crispy bhajia and king pao mogo. Having been to so many indian restaurants in north west london the food is very similar but this rastuarant was able to stand out for me with different flavours. You must try the kung pao mogo. It is something completely different with cashew nuts and is very crispy. The chilli paneer was very good...not as good as Sakonis but close. My friends got some meat food and enjoyed it as well. In terms of price I think it was very cheap. We spent £15 each and could eat not more.
