Had the vege samosa, paneer pakora and paneer spring rolls. Paneer pakora is a bit full on and makes you feel sick but the samosa and paneer spring rolls are absolutely delicious! Too pricey and not tried anything else but will do slowly. Place needs a deep clean but worth trying their food.

Homecooked style with fresh ingredients. All the curries I have tried to date are really nice and not oily at all compared to some places. Incredible value for money. The highlight has to be the mixed grill starters so far. Delicious.

Nice friendly staff to even cook something new for you. I asked for Gunjiya sweet. They promised to make custom sweet for us.

Samosa king catered for a party of 30 people for me last week. They were FANTASTIC! Roopa knows what she is doing and if she offers you advice eg on timings - take it! The food was excellent! Highlights were definitely the lamb samosas, and the chicken curry. Wonderful flavours. Kevin and his colleague unloaded and set out starters then 2 hours later came to clear away and set out main courses. The mains were presented in simply beautiful large silver serving bowls. The starters had been so delicious that our guests were not all that hungry for main courses. I had probably ordered too much.

This is the second time Samosa King have catered for me. I think they are brilliant! they know what they are doing, the food is simply delicious and you will likely have leftovers. They are reliable, helpful, straightforward and honest people to deal with. They are my go-to people for catering. You will have peace of mind if they are organising your food which is what you want when you are hosting a...

I was recommended this by a friend. We usually get our samosas and similar stuff from another Punjabi place in Ilford. Bought veg samosas and pakoras. I was pleasantly surprised. Freshly fried, samosas were tasty (green chillies gave them a kick), a good size, properly filled, not greasy. My very fussy daughter really enjoyed them. Trust me for her to endorse the samosas is a big thing. We all really enjoyed them. The pakoras were okay. The only negative is their menu says they sell beef burgers. That's a big no no for us Punjabis and puts me off. UPDATE 26.2.25. The owner and his daughter told me they have pots and pans solely for veg, non veg and burgers. Never mixed. We tried curries on 2 occasions (1 daal. 1 veg and 1 chicken or lamb) all I can say is wow.... very nice....cross between really good food you get at a wedding and home cooked.... everyone loved it...now our go to place for a good ol' Indian or Punjabi takeaway. So glad my mate told me...

If you phone them and preorder, If they say 20 mins your order will be ready don't bother going there to collect your order as when you enter the shop firstly you will be ignored as no one will be at the counter, even though they can see you from the back kitchen and may be lucky to be acknowledged and then you are going to wait at least another 30 - 40 mins even if you pre ordered...second time this has happened even though the first time I gave then benefit on doubt because they said they were busy..

Sorry to say its a massive negative customer...
