I had the absolute pleasure of celebrating my birthday at Takaa Tak, and I can't rave enough about how amazing the experience was! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the staff, who made us feel incredibly welcome with their warm smiles and hospitality.

The food was exceptional! Every dish was filled with flavor and beautifully presented. The portions were generous, and each plate was nicely presented.A big thanks to the chef's who truly outdid themselves, as each bite was a testament to the care that went into making everything taste amazing. The taste was simply unforgettable!

The service throughout the evening was excellent. Shubert, Deepti, Altamas, Shalini, Jaspreet were all attentive, ensuring our glasses were never empty and that we had everything we needed. They were not only efficient but also genuinely friendly, adding a personal touch to the entire evening. They made sure my birthday felt special from start to finish.

One of the best moments was when I cut the birthday cake. While we brought the cake ourselves, the staff went out of their way to make it special by playing the perfect birthday background music, which really enhanced the celebratory atmosphere. It was such a thoughtful touch and made the moment feel truly magical.

A huge thank you to Shubert, Jaspreet, Deepti, Shalini, and Altamas for making my birthday so memorable!

If you're looking for a place with top-notch food, exceptional service, and a welcoming ambiance, I highly recommend Takaa Tak. They know how to make a special occasion feel...

I had gone to the restaurant with my family, and we were 3 all together, and we are regular visitors over there. This time they had served papadam, not soggy. We ordered our food, and then the food arrived. No one came because my fork dropped. I asked if I could get another fork; she didn't bring it. The fork told me to take it from another table. When they were keeping the plate, they told me to place the plate because she couldn't place it later on. Food arrived even though the placement was okay. We want to try various foods, so we ordered fried rice, calamari, gobi mango, butter chicken, butter garlic nun, chicken biryani, and chicken mango. The chicken biryani was so dry, no gravy was tasting how it meant to taste. We ordered chicken manchurian every time it was really made horribly bland, no taste was watery, and the worst chicken manchurian ever had. No one came to ask how the food the food was, why we didn't eat chicken biryani, chicken manchurian, calamari, and manchurian we ate. No one came to collect it or to clear the table; we had to clear the table and put it on the other table by ourselves. We asked for containers later, then ordered one dessert, and three waiters to do different things, like, even when we paid and left, they didn't even say anything. We didn't feel welcomed, or at the end, we didn't feel happy. We did take out of all food, accept gobi manchurian and calamari, and the bill was more than £80. I don't know why I'm paying for the service charge when we cleared the table ourselves, and in the end we...

I have had the pleasure of dining at Takaa Tak in Hounslow on several occasions with my family, and each visit has been a delightful experience. This restaurant stands out as one of the more upscale dining options in the area, offering a cozy yet elegant atmosphere.

Specializing in North Indian Punjabi cuisine, Takaa Tak also surprises with a few enticing dishes from Goan cuisine on the menu. On our latest visit, we decided to explore a variety of starters. We began with a comforting bowl of Vegetarian Manchow Soup—rich and flavorful, it set the perfect tone for the meal. Next, we relished the Vegetable Manchurian with Gravy, which was beautifully cooked and packed with flavor. The Triple Szechuan Vegetables added a delightful crunch and a kick of spice, and we also enjoyed a unique twist with an egg dish that complemented the overall experience.

For the main course, my kids delved into dishes like the Takaa Tak Chicken and the Stir Fried Chicken Szechuan, both bursting with authentic flavors and vibrant ingredients. I savored the Goan Xacuti Fish Curry, which was beautifully aromatic, served alongside perfectly steamed rice that balanced the richness of the curry.

Every dish we tried was exactly as described on the menu, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to quality. For anyone who appreciates non-vegetarian North Indian cuisine, Takaa Tak is definitely...

Dining at Takaa Tak left me with mixed feelings. While the restaurant offers good food and commendable service, it lacks the variety and depth that make a meal truly memorable. Starting with the positives, the food is well-prepared, flavorful, and satisfying. The portions are generous, and the presentation is neat. It’s clear that the chefs put effort into maintaining a certain standard. The service is also impressive—prompt, attentive, and courteous. The staff ensures that orders are taken efficiently and delivered in a reasonable time. However, despite these strengths, there’s a lingering sense of monotony. The dishes, though tasty, have a strikingly similar flavor profile. Whether it’s a curry, a dry preparation, or even a starter, the same spice blend and seasoning seem to dominate. While consistency is important, a restaurant must also offer diversity in taste to keep diners engaged. This sameness made the experience less exciting than I had hoped. While I appreciated the reliability of their flavors, I found myself craving something different with each bite—but not quite getting it. Overall, Takaa Tak is a decent choice for a meal, especially if you enjoy its particular style of cooking. But if you’re looking for variety in taste and a menu that surprises, it might fall a little short. Hence, a fair three-star rating—good, but not great.

BEST INDIAN FOOD EVER!!! Just went here for lunch with my husband. We’re staying at the Marriott just down the street. We were recommended a different Indian restaurant within walking distance from our hotel, however upon arrival we found it was closed until 5pm (as many Indian restaurants do). So we did a quick search of nearby Indian restaurants (because now I had my heart set on it) and found that there are TONS to choose from. We chose this one because it had indoor seating. We were the second customers in the dining room. It’s clean and nicely decorated. We ordered the garlic naan, some samosas, I ordered the Korma chicken and my husband ordered the Tikka chicken. We ordered a bowl of basmati rice on the side. It doesn’t come with rice, but the bowl is very big, more than enough for 2 people, and only Ā£3.50. Everything was so delicious! I feel like that was the best samosa I’ve ever had! My korma chicken was so delicious! I was almost able to eat all of it. That’s probably the most I’ve been able to eat in an Indian restaurant! I dipped my naan in the curry sauce. It was sweet and creamy. Absolutely perfect in every way! I’m coming back to London in a year and I’m definitely coming back to this restaurant again.
