Santos — Restaurant in London

I ordered a buy 1 get 1 free pizza in X large. I had the food delivered whilst I was not at home. However, I discovered that the pizza sizes were large (not XL) and toppings incorrect. Upon my return home the pizzas were already being eaten. I went through the Just Eat channels in raising an issue, thereupon, a decision was made to issue me a refund for the pizzas.

A while later, I receive a phone call from the owner where I explain / reiterate the situation, he doesn’t listen or accept and accuses customers of using the Just Eat loophole. I advised I can send him pictures of the leftover slices to ensure I am telling the truth, he mentions no need and despite this still accuses me of using this loophole.

In his defence, he did mention that if I contacted Santos directly, I would have been given free food, again I had to re-explain again:

The food was half eaten and I didn’t know the order was incorrect until I got home. The issue is why should people wait around for a half eaten dinner and then wait around for a long time for more food. Again ruins the takeaway experience. Despite the explanation and my guarantee that I can provide pictures, he still accused me of taking advantage of a loophole. Make sure the food is prepared correctly in accordance to the what was ordered.

What I did say is that I have ordered from Santos numerous times before but the rudeness of the Manager now means unfortunately I will not be ordering from them ever again.

If he decides to come back with some sort of rebuttal containing lies, I will publish my order as well as the pictures of the meal.

Terrible shame that it has ended up like this as I used to enjoy their food.

I’ve historically spent £hundreds worth of food from Santos, so I can say that they’ve lost a loyal customer.

Mediocre food, dull, flat, sums this place up a bit like Sams. I don't eat much meat these days, but kind of a disservice to any dead animal to churn out any dish as average as this, no love, no passion, nothing to give it unique flavour or make it stand out for a customer to even remember Santos.

Geared towards pizza toppings to be honest so on the bland side. Well packaged as always, clean and fresh but tasteless, sometimes wraps arrive on the cold side and have you waiting an hour. If you give it a miss you won't lose any sleep, pricing at least fair for quantity, best thing to try is probably the garlic bread.

I revisited the seconds left for scraps, the next day, I learnt this isn't conventional knife and fork dining but you have to add your own passion and churn some heat. Nevertheless, nothing wrong with my heart, still rubbish and if you think this dead-animal routine is hot, you must be mad. YUCK! Never Entering my...

Made an order tonight 5/1/2023 on just eat. I waited 2 hours for my food. When looking for an update on where it was they kept disconnecting the phone lines so you don't get through with a resolution.

The driver turns up and couldn't give a care in the world and lied to say that they only had 1 driver and the car broke down.

Such as sad ending to what once was a phenomenal place to eat.

They changed the ownership from someone called Hamid who was a legend there and made great food and had great customer service.

Never gonna come back here again and I've demanded a refund foe this immediately.

Cheesy Chips - Cold, soggy - £3.50 seriously?

Burger - Not warm enough but was surprisingly OK. Nice flavour.

Wings - Joke. Lack any flavour and so small. They used to be alot better.

Desi pizza - Lacks any quality like before really sad to taste the difference
