I would rate this 5 stars because some core community members of this park are fantastic. However, there's far too much racism in this park and it's one reason I'm leaving the area.
I have never seen anything physical. Just nasty comments me and my wife endure.
For example, as I sound kind of native-born, a bloke in the park greeted me once by saying "Finally, someone who sounds like they're born and bred British!". I told him I grew up overseas. As did my wife, my Dad, etc.

Read moreThis is a big park next to the high street and serving residents of Inwood road, Inwood avenue, Chapel road, Pears road, Gordon road, Bairstow road and Stanley road. There used to be a cafe and toilets but closed for many years now. The new addition of the fountains is attracting young children. But there have been problems with people drinking and smoking weed without any consideration. If someone tries to advise, they become rude and abusive. It is basic in the sense that there aren't amenities within, however this is perfect considering there are an abundance of shops surrounding Inwood Park; this turns each visit into a great feeling of rest, as a little pocket of sorts which is enough to give my head a little break from the rush of the streets nearby.
It is well maintained, and there has been great effort in the look (trees kept within a selected design element etc.) to make this little (and it is not all too big) park just a little more special. It's just peaceful, I suppose. Great for when you need a contrast to the...
